The funny thing about the online gambling wankery of yesterday and today is how many people on here who TOTALLY DON'T HAVE A PROBLEM are basically using 'guns don't kill people' rhetoric.
obviously i have no problem with an age gap except when the older one in the relationship openly admits his relief that the younger one is too inexperienced to realize she’s too good for him
RFK: "There's five hundred million Arabs in the world. And yet they don't produce science. They don't win the Nobel Prize. They don't win the Fields Prize. They don't win the Wolf Prize. They don't produce literature."
Anyone else going as Pumpkin Hill from Sonic Adventure 2 for Halloween this year or just me? 🎃⛰️
The costume has a treasure hunting minigame where you can move Knuckles across the “level” and the radar necklace will blink as you get closer to the hidden emerald in the pockets 💎 I love Halloween!!
Spent the weekend and today playing Flesh Made Fear. It's a game that basically advertising itself as just doing PSX RE again so if you like tank controls, fixed camera angles, and strict inventory management you'll like this but it also does absolutely nothing new or unique.
Like when I say nothing new, I mean it is so much like classic RE where you choose between playing a gun who does more damage with guns or a girl who has extra inventory space.
The game seems to really like its villain, who is probably the biggest departure from RE but a mad scientist with delusions of godhood that also has a German accent isn't exactly going to set the world on fire.
i don't think anyone should run explicitly on banning online gambling but i do think that a democratic-led government should just quietly take steps to undermine the industry and create an inhospitable regulatory environment
The New Racism is just as serious in its potential impact as the old, but it is far, far, far, FAR more stupid. 'The calibre of racist has gone sharply downhill' sounds like it should be the start of a joke, but it is also: just demonstrably true!
Personally I am definitely more upset about AI, but they both have the same basic result at my graphic design job, which is "tricking the layman into thinking they can design something, but the output file is unusable garbage when given to an actual designer, so we have to clean up your shit now"
Something I’ve noticed after taking a bunch of graphic design classes is that a lot of professional graphic designers are more upset about people using Canva than they are about people using AI, which is fascinating
Rewatched the American version of The Ring tonight. I had forgotten how much of this movie was more about solving the mystery than the horror stuff. In fact, I had the thought "this movie has a similar plot progression to National Treasure." Sorry
I know there's a lot going on but I feel it should probably be more of an above-the-fold story that members of Congress released a thoroughly documented report directly accusing the president of the United States of being a serial rapist.
I think one of the signs that I think spoiler culture gets ridiculous is when I see a stream of Resident Evil 9 and it has [SPOILERS] I think that goes without saying that if you watch a stream of a video game the narrative will be in it!
