Mamdani is going to implement Shar Law. Everyone will have to bow down to the Mistress of the Night, the Lady of Loss, and devote themselves to bringing about a darkness that will smother her hated foe and sister Selûne

I believe in forgiveness for many things but completely agree with Noah in his Substack article here. We’ve got to be careful and keep up our guards. These people are not to be trusted, even if they are family. We are in uncharted waters… open.substack.com/pub/noahberl...
Only about 3 people on the planet might get this, but why not? Optimist: The cup is half full Pessimist: The cup is half empty Launch Vehicle GN&C Engineer: Hey, be careful with that. The first slosh mode is unstable.
Optimist: The cup is half full Pessimist: The cup is half empty Animation: This youtube video essay about cups is the only thing keeping us going on this project
Can engineers play too? I was captivated by the Apollo 11 mission as a six year-old. It sparked a lifelong fascination with space that led me to aerospace engineering, with emphasis on astrodynamics. Today I do launch vehicle GN&C at NASA and I can’t imagine doing anything else.
Dear scientists: What sparked your interest in your field of study? Share your story!
I’m genuinely an expert in launch vehicle guidance, navigation, and control, having spent 38 years in the field. I’m trained and competent in general aerospace engineering, in particular in astrodynamics. I’m treated by my coworkers as an expert in statistics though I’m barely adequate at it.
This is a great point, and it poses a question - feel free to QT with your answer: What are you genuinely an expert in, what are you trained and competent in, and what do people TREAT YOU as an expert in?
