Fun fact: The decision to animate the final episode of Gunbuster in black-and-white was not a cost-cutting move—it was a creative choice. It’s actually more resource intensive and time consuming compared to traditional methods.

How to really fluster up my characters! Size them down and give them licks! Can easily be sexy licks too, winkwink! Fluster them even more! At a foot tall, basically giving them a sloppy tongue bath. Micro size, just staring inward and getting pinned by tongue! Art by @sparkythechu

Postybirb is giving me an issue with Furaffinity where it keeps looping over the Cloudflare verification when trying to login, has it ever happened to anyone ? I don't know how to solve it 83;

I watched Willow. A very simple, heartfelt kids' fantasy movie with a charming main character and a fairytale-like atmosphere that mostly manages to be a fun romp due to its simple, but heartfelt story and its willingness to play itself straight even in the face of the kid-targeted humor. its only-

-glaring problem is how underbaked its secondary main characters are, lacking proper backstory and motivation, which makes their development pretty messy and even nonsensical in places. Despite this, the movie is still a fun romp, with a fantastic melodic soundtrack and very fun setpieces and-

-special effects (stop motion for monsters need to be a thing again with how organic it feels on screen when done well). Overall, an enjoyable, if flawed movie with the heart in the right place.

I watched Ducktales (2017) in a sea of Disney reboots/revival/remakes that are either total disasters or painfully mediocre at best, this show is a work of love, managing to pay tribute to not only the original series, but the whole Disney Afternoon roster, even pulling out some incredibly-

-deep cuts, showing a rare knowledge of the source material. Fanservice is not the only thing this show has though, as it's capable to stand on its own legs with new takes on familiar characters and completely original ones all organically involved in the overall plot. Even the humor worked-

-on me a lot of the times and you know how hard that is for a new show! You can tell they still had plenty of ideas when Disney cut them short, but they still managed to give a mostly satisfying send-off. Definitely among my fave modern western animated shows.

I watched Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die. It's hard to rate because, while the humor is very self-aware and hit and miss for me, the movie gives the viewer some over-the-top, goofy aspects based on the fears of AI, while also ending up feeling uncomfortable and dreadful in a way that feels-

-carefully pointed. It's far from perfect. The humor is hit and miss and some aspects lack proper build-up and it's a little too happy to lean into its comedy, yet it presents some really cool concepts in some of its plot points and it's not afraid to leave the viewer uncomfortable and make some-
