Send all those children to my house! Don’t care if they have a costume or just want some candy. I’ll tell them they’re beautiful and give ‘em full-size candy bars. Because what am I, a monster?
Forget the kids, I would be ashamed of *myself* if someone was on my doorstep asking for food, even candy, and I turned them away shamed and emptyhanded.
Dear men, This is the kind of shit that happens to women ALL THE TIME. Don’t be that guy. Please call out other men when you see creepy behavior. Please help is stand up against this… insidiousness. Thank you.
What bums me out is this is a guy (an “nice” acquaintance to be sure, not a friend-friend) who lost his dad and an amazing dog. We bonded over “life is hard” and we agreed that we’d give each other a hug whenever we saw each other. I had no idea that me hugging him = nice tits against his chest.

Uh, the lab set was in no danger of being thrown out because it was actually stored in the home garage of the crew member who created the lab. bsky.app/profile/jiji...
Yeah, Mel Brooks actually tracked down Kenneth Strickfaden, the original crew member responsible for the '31 film's lab, who still had all the original stuff stored in his home garage; he asked him to lend the set which he gladly did especially since he could get long overdue credit for his work.

Students made their first minicomics in my intro making course - mostly standard format but this student, a first time maker(!), did something so off the charts I’m still reeling from it! & he made like 12 of them for his classmates! A paper engineering feat of flipbookery as well as killer drawing!

Since we’re all desperate for a positive distraction today, I guess I’ll share some exciting news I’ve been sitting on for a few months… I made an accidental discovery in art history & after four years of researching and reworking, it’s finally getting published! direct.mit.edu/leon/article...
