Steel Tacos🌮🌮🌮

My art thread! First up, my recreation of the Star Trek Animated intro. Started long before DVDs were out. I wanted to create a hi-rez version of it. A higher quality Youtube version is linked in the thread

I wanted to add Rand and Chekhov to this image I found of the original TAS cast. felt appropriated. 🙏 Ideally I should redo all the lines and clean it up. Maybe another time... Sorry M'ress and Arex.

well.... that was a horrible start to my day....

My heart is heavy. Walter Koenig, our Ensign Pavel Chekov, passed away early today. Walter and I met on the bridge of the Enterprise in the 1960s, and we stayed friends for nearly six decades. When Brad and I married in 2008, Walter stood beside us as our best man.

⚔️♠️ The Spade is the Sword of Justice It holds no man as friend. 😁

My daughter is in central Ireland near Athlone and took some amazing photos after a powerful windstorm, followed by sunset.

Full moon tonight. 🌕

No one riots quite like the French.

Happy to see the fan film, Star Trek Aurora, has got a new episode! Literally dropped an hour ago. Please give ❤️and👍 on YT! btw I normally am not into fan films. But the writing on previous eps won me. o7 www.youtube.com/watch?v=SsnE...

Now I had completely forgotten these until I laid eyes on this image. Another time for sure…. 😂😂😂

I remember thinking it would have been cool to rewrite that episode where a virus destroys another galaxy class, then infects the Enterprise. Into A virus destroys most of another Galaxy class. And Enterprise leaves its saucer behind to bring the surviving saucer back. But then virus. o7

I believe the model may have been used for this holodeck shot in "Hollow Pursuits"

This guy calculated that Tesla "flying car" has enough propellant to hover just 6.75 seconds. And each stunt was less than 4 sec So less flying, but more like Knightrider's Turbo jumps. Still cool. But yeah, those features wont ever hit market.

A concept sketch for a new female character… ✏️ Still exploring shapes, personality and visual direction. Nothing is set in stone yet — and that's the beauty of character design! Let's see where this one takes me. 😉 #MarcoTuriniArt #CharacterDesign #ConceptArt #FemaleCharacter #TraditionalArt
