The annual time of the election cycle where holier than thou “vote blue no matter who” folks crawl out from their neoliberal graves.

Super fun to be living within a shelter in place in Toledo, Ohio due to a nonstop chemical leak a couple miles away. 🤙🤙

i wasn't expecting the haaland vibe shift to be this dramatic lol

Genuinely don’t understand why a team of cheats are allowed to continue fielding a squad. The Premier League is a sham.

An unsung reason that Weird Al is one of the best to ever perform is the fact that he goes to the traditional “flyover” states and cities. Can’t wait to see him tonight at a venue that traditionally only does mainstream country and washed up rock bands.

@themonstersknow.com absolutely love your books and know your main focus is on D&D specifically, but have you considered similar series of books in other systems? I specifically play Daggerheart and would be curious as a GM and a player how you would approach the system.

Looking forward to playing Daggerheart again soon. We always take a summer break and I’m itching to get back to shenanigans.

I’m really glad I’m moving into the house I bought because wow I’m so bad at moving. I can’t do this shit again in a few years 😂

Now the Lucas county Democrats have joined the call for Rep Kaptur to take down her transphobic ads.

Looking to upgrade the main living room tv that I play my Xbox on and watch a majority of our media on. Does anyone have an affordable option that looks good with gaming especially? Doesn’t need good smart tv functioning since I use an Apple TV.

Some Banana Ball for my first Comerica visit

My wife’s name is Mel Blanc and I still do double takes when her name pops up 😂

I live in Marcy’s district and I was going to do the typical “what choice do I have” vote in November but no longer. I will not vote for her (or any candidate in her race for that matter).

25 years ago I was concerned that I wouldn’t be able to go to EB Games after school to buy a used copy of Red Faction for the PS2. Anyway, kids often don’t have a full world view developed and we should go easy on them for not grasping the issues of adults.

The fertility industry is so deeply fucked up that I can’t understand why anyone with any amount of mortality would consider using it.

There’s a new coffee truck in Toledo called “sHe Brews” and I can’t tell if the theme is Jewish, feminist, or evangelical xtian.

If the writers have any guts, they’ll give the Burgomaster of Vallaki a deep southern gentleman accent like he had in my Curse of Strahd campaign.

Checked out Threads for some reason and discovered yet another ragebait filled hellscape. I know Bluesky has issues, but I rarely see ragebait clogging my timeline.

I think I have to get Star Wars Zero Company simply because Vic Michaelis voices a main character.

You know what 23andMe? I think I’ll skip that report, but I appreciate it.

Thanks to the Browns (the football club, not the family), the Bengals look like a model organization.

A guy I barely know from college invited me to his “family AI tool page” that he “created” to “help” children learn how to use AI tools. I clicked on it out of morbid curiosity and laughed as I saw it was only being followed by his wife and himself.

What in the world is happening in these Premier League matches? Aston Villa looks like they’ve never seen a football before.

Toledo: where you can now pay $1200/month for an apartment with a flooded basement and enough lead paint to disrupt generations of your own family.

Buying a house is a financial humiliation ritual imposed by much richer people than myself, but I’m right on the cusp of finishing this process. Never thought it was possible in my lifetime.

It’s so bleak how these superhero franchises just churn the same 25 actors over and over and over again into competing franchises. I don’t understand the appeal whatsoever.

I shouldn’t have started my new wretch run of Elden Ring yesterday if this is the case.

Watching some silent episodes of The Incredible Hulk on tv at a dive bar in Toledo and Marvel doesn’t make them like they used to.

This series is incredible for people who watch baseball like a sicko (me)

Going on a week long vacation that has nothing to do with family, work, or any other obligation other than leisure for the first time in many years next week. Any suggestions for Grand Rapids, Ludington, and Traverse City areas are welcome!

anytime I see AI food pics in a restaurant's ad I wanna go inside and tell the owner it looks EXACTLY like when you do a bunch of mushrooms and try to eat something and it seems like the food is moving and breathing
