I'm not quite up to doing cross stitch today, so instead of working on it: Here's my new project. And I thought I'd try making it a thread that I can add to as I progress. So here's the printed cross stitch, with one tiny area of red umbrella on snowman 1 complete.

Did you know that we not only have cards that explain the different types of multiple sclerosis (relapsing remitting/secondary progressive/primary progressive), but we also have a huge range of cards that help communicate about symptoms and needs common to #MS - pain, visual impairment,

continence issues, mobility issues, pacing, fatigue and more. You can find them all on our 'Multiple Sclerosis' page on our website (Plus there's at least 25% off all physical products as we are switching to downloads only by mid December!) www.stickmancommunications.co.uk/category/mul...

I've spent this afternoon putting together some status squares - with the 25% off sale for all physical products, they've been rather popular! We've got quite a few in stock now, but I won't be surprised if we run out. (I won't be printing new ones for the forseeable future, as

if you know anyone who is running a php *anything* let them know *immediately*

nightshade →home, for now@nightshade.technology

details leaked. this vulnerability is a full unauthenticated unconditional remote code execution exploit against any service running on a PHP version from 5.4 until latest yeah if anything deserves CVSS 11, this is it. this is CATACLYSMICALLY bad.

Turns out it’s the flu! ended up in A&E for IV fluids yesterday, and they really helped - I now just feel really ill instead of half dead. I can now sit for long enough to wheel myself to bathroom, get food and drink etc. lots of paracetamol. I’ll get through this soon..

I’m 90% sure I have covid. Cough, fever, sore throat, insomnia. Looks like all plans are cancelled for a bit. Heart rate is 145 if I sit. (Covid is annoying my #POTS) My eyeballs are hot.

I don’t know whether I’m going down with something or my body is reacting to 4 nights of very poor sleep annoying my chronic issues. Either way, today’s a bed day. And look how lovely the autumn colours are through my bedside window!

Cross stitch finished!! Love it. Will decide what to do with it once my I’ve moved in to my new home - a wheelchair accessible annex in the garden of my brother and his family (which isn’t built yet, still finalising the layout)

As a wheelchair user, I never get challenged about using an accessible toilet - but it makes me sad that so often I have experienced the person coming out of the loo, or the person queueing in front of me having a hidden disability, and feeling scared and like they need to justify

So I’m now actively looking for a literary agent - I’ve found one so far that I think is worth trying - my somewhat niche topic and style means many won’t touch it! So if anyone knows anyone who might be interested, please let me know!

Authors of bluesky: I have been self publishing my books for years - because no publishers were interested. 15 years on - and I’ve been approached by a smallish publisher! early days, but….any thoughts/advice on whether I need an agent?

Some days success is impressive. Some days it's not throwing your laptop out the window. Shop to accounts app got updated: instead of a simple clicky job, I've got to learn a whole new system so I can sort last month, and reset so it'll be simple next month. I had to go do my physio to calm down!

Being out and about using a wheelchair or walker is a very different experience to an able-bodied stroll. Cars parked on the pavement (genuinely trying to be considerate and park out of the way!) often mean we can't get past and have to find an alternative route or head into the road. Please -

It's one of the few categories I've tried sorting through for the new shop page - I've tried to add all the potentially relevant products to the page, then you can filter it by topic (e.g. assistance dogs, or fatigue etc) and by product type (e.g. downloads, or keyring cards).

Yes, I am still in my Pyjamas. I have also just finished the core work in updating my webshop, and redirecting all the old pages to the new page! It's not perfect, but should be a lot easier to find what you want now. One question I have is: Should I create an 'Other conditions' category

My health has been very variable recently, so my exercise routine has been inconsistent, constantly changing because of my symptoms. So I thought I'd share some of the ways I adapt my exercise routine around my body needs. #Hypemobility #PoTS #EDS www.stickmancommunications.co.uk/post/exercis...

From the outside people with brain fog often look fine - so it is easily misunderstood as: lack of care, laziness, disinterested-ness, not trying etc. But in reality, brain fog can make life really tough - it can affect remembering things, making decisions, thinking things through,

understanding instructions and so much more. And for those of us who live with it, life has to be full of strategies - from scripted 'can we have this conversation later' phrases to always writing everything down and setting reminders so there's less chance of forgetting.

If you have strategies for dealing with brain fog that you find helpful, please share them! (Note: everyone is different, so the same strategies won't work for everyone. Anything shared here should be taken as 'might be helpful for some people, won't be helpful for some people)

With hidden disabilities, people can often try to ‘encourage’ us by refusing to take no for an answer. Without realising it they can undermine important self management decisions. This card provides a way to help other people to understand that we we say no for a reason – it’s not a random -

Finished the cross stitch - now doing the backstitch (that's the lines added over the top of the cross stitches). So far I've only done the butterfly backstitch and a bit on the white flowers, got a few sprigs, the birds and the bees still to do.

Work on the new shop page with improved filters is going well - I think the basic structure is there, so I've made it live on my website. Still got lots to do with putting the right products in each category, but I think it's nicely usable -
