I bet a small amount (under $15) on Annie Andrews when she was at 8% chance of winning. If she wins I get a new winter coat and some decent take out. So vote for her if you want to help the cold and hungry. Or rather, chilly and snackish.

Inside me are two wolves: One who cares fiercely about American elections. And another, who is voting on a specific day to get a sticker with a ghost on it.

🚨🚨voting sickos: NYC early voting sticker designs just dropped 🚨🚨 we’ve got ones for halloween AND the marathon!!! early voting starts TOMORROW www.thecityreporter.nyc/2026/10/23/e...

There’s a team of democratic consultants currently fashioning this into an attack ad against Hamilton on behalf of Gavin Newsome in case they ever compete in a presidential primary.

Kansas Dem Sen. nominee Adam Hamilton on trans rights: “I don’t think we should take a small group of people and bully them, pick on them, and hurt them. I understand one thing really clearly when it comes to transgender people, and that is Jesus told me I was to love my neighbor as I love myself”

Woah. Good news? That’s still a thing. Amazing!!!

I always thought Rory Killmore would be a great derby name. I also thought the last season of Gilmore Girls should have been about a genre switch to slasher horror about Rory transforming into a serial killer and killing her exes

Really loving this blood filled Gilmore Girls LP

Diabetes treatment. As much as I lament American healthcare, the actual treatment since I was diagnosed 40 years ago is amazing. Every year of my life my life expectancy has increased.

Social media loves talking about how everything is getting worse. But what’s something that you’ve seen get _better_ in your lifetime?

And it would be a much better world if men could just cop to being imaginative and actually more emotional instead of threatening to run people over with their big toy trucks or shoot them with their army man guns if they dare to question their super special make believe persona they’re performing.

Highly recommend watching The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad. Second half (sleepy hollow part) is amazing and hugely influential on subsequent Disney films. My daughter loves it and if’s watched it dozens of times and it’s stays amazing. On Disney Plus.

GOP new closing argument: Joe Biden was so bad, he forced American to elect a monster like Donald Trump, who is ruining the country.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Rep. Eric Burlison on his constituents: "They don't want to go back to the period in which we had a Democratic weak president, like Joe Biden, who allowed us to get into this hellscape that we're living in, where we allowed these foreign terrorists to dominate the western United States." 🥴

Unpopular opinion: In any dispute between a weird store in NYC and a celebrity, I'm always going to to take the weird stores side. No matter what. Because weird stores are what's great about NYC, and celebrities are what's terrible.

Jack Skeleington “discovers” Christmas town, decides he can do it better, kidnaps their leader, acts like her should be thanked for stealing their holiday, sends their leader to be tortured, then ruins their traditions and expresses self pity as opposed to remorse for it.

AI “researchers” are coming up with their probabilities by querying AI “How likely are you to murder me”

"Even if more capable AI accelerates research, it does not necessarily translate into proportionate capability gains because they require corresponding increases in compute, energy, and data, which may not scale at the same rate and become binding constraints."

For Woke 3.0 we're going to revert everything back to its indigenous name. And de-anglicize the spelling.

The US has intelligence?

Shipwreck@shipwreck75.bsky.social

US warned the Ukrainians that Washington might cut off intelligence sharing with Kyiv if it will continue strikes on Russian refineries. The Americans also informed their Ukrainian counterparts that the US was set to lift sanctions on Russian diesel and that Moscow intended to lift its export ban.

These are both crimes. This is a crime bot and its creators need to be held criminally liable. Also, the AI bot knows its a crime so has mens rea. As proof I submit the following:

I finally understand that late stage capitalism is everything being bought by a holding company that ruins a business and hopes it still makes money through pre-purchase market capture.

Unless the next Democratic candidate for president has a solution to our Sun problem I’m not voting for them in the primary and refuse to support them in the general.

No matter how much we futz with the clock, the ultimate problem is that there just isn’t enough sun like November to April. The whole “daylight savings” argument was manufactured to keep us from asking the real question: why has science not figured out how to make the days longer year-round?
