It bears repeating that STALKER 2 is the game now that it should have been at launch. No shade on the devs either, they were (and still are) working in an active warzone. The v2.0 overhaul got it 95% of the way there. This update hammers out the last major gripe most had. From here, it's all good.

Thinking about it, there's been a bunch of Souls-likes set in Blame-inspired megastructures recently. Bleak Faith: Forsaken, Dolls Nest, AI Limit - any others I'm missing?

Oh, wow, just tried the demo for Echoes Of Nothing. It's a hard sci-fi fusion of Descent and Souls-like, but that's still pretty reductive. This plays like nothing else. You start out as a small space pod, salvaging parts from wrecks and transferring into intact chassis, working up the food chain.
