Trump doesn’t lead, he rules by grievance. He weaponizes loyalty, punishes honesty, and calls it patriotism. The man who promised to “drain the swamp” has turned it into a toxic lagoon where billionaires breed and democracy drowns.

What’s going on between Trump and Putin? Why are they calling each other humanitarians? I explain why that’s the the point and the flattening of language and words under authoritarians.

This 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻- listen to Charlie. He knows what is up. There are sooooo many far right candidates for the BC Conservative Party and we can’t allow them to run this province.

The BC election is going to be a crucial showdown against the MAGA and conspiracy agenda. I am urging people in BC to come out to vote. This is not about "sending the government a message" it is about ensuring the far right doesn't get elected. youtube.com/shorts/mBsL9...

Four brothers went to war against Hitler. Three were killed. The fourth survived, and his grandson, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, is the president of Ukraine. Zelensky comes from a family that fought tyrants: Trump negotiates with them while demanding concessions from their victims.

Asked in Brussels whether Donald Trump is using him as a scapegoat for US domestic troubles ahead of midterms, Volodymyr Zelensky offered a knowing smile. "This is my answer," he told reporters with a grin before wrapping up the press conference.

Donald Trump’s rhetoric on Ukraine has damaged perceptions of the U.S. inside the country, but many Ukrainians still consider America to be the “leader of the free world,” journalist Illia Ponomarenko explains on The David Frum Show.

President Zelenskyy at an interview with Piers Morgan: We can't be weak, otherwise we can't survive. We are not selling our country. It's not about business for us. It's our life. And this is our country, it's our body, our home, our children. And this is very important for us.

Piers Morgan: “Do you feel you’re losing America?” Zelensky: “Yes. It’s a pity that we’re losing such a strong partner. But not because of us. We can’t [afford to] be weak.”

Former Trump Ukraine envoy Keith Kellogg said he would tell Zelensky to strike every Russian oil refinery, arguing there should be no military sanctuaries. “I’d burn down every one of the goddamn refineries that Russia has today. Take them all out. Make them pay the price.” #Ukraine

@chrystia-freeland.bsky.social reacts to Trump forgoing our alliance with Ukraine so that he can strengthen his relationship with Putin: “America is committing superpower suicide…America, for no good reason, is throwing away this amazing thing it built. It's vandalism.”

Bill Browder: Putin has got a major shortage of diesel fuel in Russia, and so I don't believe that he's actually gonna supply the fuel. Second, the amounts are de minimis compared to what the United States actually needs.

And of course, Zelensky’s support ratings in Ukraine will now soar through the roof again. Trump, just like Putin, is a true master at repeatedly throwing a rake in his own path, only to step on it and get painfully smacked in the forehead over and over again.

Trump has once again announced an energy ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine, claiming both sides have agreed. Zelenskyy: ??? Putin: ??? And literally an hour after Trump’s announcement, Russia struck Kharkiv’s thermal power plant.

Kellogg turns against Trump. Former US special envoy for Ukraine, retired Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg, says Ukraine should continue striking Russian oil refineries. “This is war. They are attacking correctly,” he said, backing Kyiv’s continued campaign against Russian refining infrastructure. #Ukraine

The PM's statement that Canada is mapping out scenarios for US military violence is a game changer. There is no pretending that things will somehow go back to normal as long as the White House believes it can threaten violence against neighbours. charlieangus.substack.com/p/a-reminder...

SAID by no one except a trump sycophant and fellow republican. Those are the exact words heard from Russia, only a few years ago. Does Alaska not understand that NO ONE trusts the American president and his administration anymore. And certainly NOT this canadian as I'm sure there are many more.

Every time Canada makes a concession to be reasonable with the United States, Washington sees it as weakness. And they want more. This is Trump's message to the world after the deal on the Gordie Howe Bridge. Their threat to Canada remains serious.

The American-led negotiations in Ukraine prolonged the war by encouraging Putin. The Russians dangled ludicrous business"deals" in front of Witkoff and Kushner who were too gullible to understand that they were being manipulated. Good to hear the US has abandoned this failed policy.

So what does this tell us? That the military, legal, political, media power of the United States has thrown their lot in with an unhinged narcissist. There is why Canada, Europe and other nations are moving as far as they can from the United States. Pope Leo represents a vision of a better world.
