With childhood trauma: I can only "accept" myself through accomplishment, but that's obviously hollow acceptance. I desire others to recognize my accomplishments which is really shallow and still doesn't fix anything, instead builds on the belief that only my talent is worth something, not *me*.

This causes a lot of downstream social issues and I'm sorry if you were caught in any. I can't say everything's fixed now, it takes a lot of time, but I'm feeling progress begin. "Believe in yourself" didnt work until I figured out the specific thing I needed to believe in, not what I thought it was

Realizing your post had a minor typo used to be *vaporized gif* but now it's "well it shows that I don't use AI"

brb filling my writing style with every instance of "not proper grammar exactly but technically not incorrect" (but I'm keeping the oxford comma)

I prefer when Talan's growth is due to some intrinsic power rather than an external effect like potion/ray gun, or if it is external, that Talan naturally gets a MUCH stronger effect than he should, and perhaps ends up self-replicating it. But if intrinsic, i prefer it it's not just "decide to grow"

So something intrinsic like growth from pleasure, absorption, worship, destruction, vore, continuous surges... often times it's something an external character can provide to trigger the growth, but the power itself is still his. It's still hot if you augment that power with your own magic/tech too

And if you want to spoil me, you are always very welcome to take it upon yourself to 'narrate' decide when he gets a surge of growth and how big it is, whether your character does something to cause it or if you pick out something I do and go "yep that'll make him bigger.." Just some insider secrets
