Okay, I did a little math. 1982 Average MLB salary: $241,947 Obstructed view Brewers World Series ticket: $18 2026 Average MLB salary: $5,335,966 (22.05x increase) Obstructed view Brewers World Series ticket: $1,432.50 (79.58x increase) Sources: AP, WITI-TV, official Brewers ticketing site

That's nice but it doesn't do anything to help 330 million United States citizens.

1. Nationalize all of Elon Musk's property and businesses. 2. Strip Elon of US citizenship and deport him. Just working on my to do list when Democrats win in 2026!

Bogaerts struck out looking in the sixth and swinging in the ninth. Alas. Fun thought while it lasted. The Padres' franchise cycle count remains at three. Two of those three have come at Coors Field. This would have been three of four.

Very happy Shaheen won, she's the more progressive candidate

This “game” on the White House website, a version of Snake where you play as a white man in a suit and you run around picking up identifiably black, Asian, and Latino men and putting them in orange jumpsuits, might be the most openly white supremacist thing I’ve ever seen the US government produce

🤖 JJ Cooper I think everyone is aware that offense is up across MiLB. I don't think most are aware of how much it is up. It's the highest run environment since the current MiLB system was formed in 1963. It's higher than any MLB season other than 1930. Story: 🔗

I don't think dogs actually like the ballpark promotion. They sit in the stands and all they can smell are people eating hotdogs. They're staring at a giant field they can't go and run around in and a bunch of humans are throwing a ball around they can't chase and just have to sit there and watch.

Only 3 players in MLB HISTORY have hit a first-pitch leadoff homer and a walk-off homer in the same game. Two of them did it THIS WEEK 🤯 (h/t @SlangsOnSports)

I do think there needs to be some better regulations on e-bikes, but I find it fascinating how last year LA hospitals saw about 950 e-bike ER visits, and 70,000 car accident visits, and there’s nothing on the table about the latter.

One thing I'll never understand is why national brands don't advertise on the free games we play on our phone. All we see are ads for other games that we actually have to watch and cannot skip for sometimes a whole minute. Make it make sense.
