Art by Expression: anartisticexpression.tumblr.com Guess I should start making a bit of a space here. My first YA novel is still a work in progress but this is the main character Aaron Conners. A newly made English werewolf dragged into a hidden world of Werecreatures, Eygptian Gods and Canadians.

Garth Marenghi’s Skull-Flusher 2 is OUT NOW. m.youtube.com/watch?v=X8cX...

Ended up seeing Monster Mia because it looked like a pretty fun, if simple, animated movie. It was exactly that. Animation was nice, good character designs. Nice monster designs including a ballerina werewolf (yes really!) Glad I saw it, especially on a wet and miserable Monday morning!

He was only 46... I'm just glad he got to see Coyote vs Acme released since he fought hard for that movie.

FINISHED!!!

Every frame of Wildwood was art! A magestic score and some really fun characters! Really beautifully made and you can see why it took them seven years with all the set pieces! The story is simple but it got really dark in a very refreshing way! We need more movies like this! Absolute Cinema!

Ah ee ooh!

Every gothic horror:

Just found out that the UK has censorship for #forgottenisland! I was wondering why Jo was carry that piece of green rock with her and looking at a six month old trailer, I realised it was originally an actual knife! I guess its because of knife laws here but its bizarre to see what was changed.

Watched the first episode of #Visionquest and one thing that confused me was that Vision was watching Sanford & Son but since he was in Edinburgh it should have made more sense that he would have been watching Steptoe & Son since Sanford & Son was based on it and never aired in the UK!

Who just got back from seeing Forgotten Island? Me! Did I feel the marketing misled the plot of the movie! Heck yeah! Did I still enjoy it? Absolutely! I had a fun time! Loved the music and the character designs! The mythology was amazing and I would very much like more movies like this please!

"Don't tempt me Frodo! I dare not take it. Not even to keep it safe. Understand Frodo, I would use this Ring from a desire to do good. But through me, it would wield a weapon too great and terrible to imagine." - Gandalf

Finally managed to sit down to watch the Golden Axe cartoon series. Admittedly I wasn't a huge fan of the original character at the start but he grew on me. The humour also got way better throughout. Would I like to see another season? Yes. I don't think I would mind that at all!

Yes, yes but may I also remind you that they also made the dreadful live action version which should never have been. I somehow doubt they have learnt their lesson and I'm honestly surprised the author still wants to work with Disney after that.

I have no idea what is going on but it does seem to have werewolves in it so there's that! youtu.be/EnMRCZ770fs?...

I uh... I don't think I have the right qualifications for this job.

And just like that. I have a new PC.

Tis the season to reformat an old sketch into vertical video. Also, I found this drawing I did for the model of the Spirit. I forgot he used to have a sword instead of skeleton hands.

Is it me, or does Michaelmas start earlier every year?

C'mon guysss

Me every time I hear someone say they've been loving Forgotten Island when I can't see it until the 16th of October!

Welp, looks like my PC has decided to die. Game over man. Game over...

She's missed you. Knights of Guinevere returns October 9. The season will feature 8 episodes.

Post your fave Power Rangers/Super Sentai Team. Wrong answers only!

And then there were four! Attack of the Sea Dogs is OUT NOW!

Sharing my judgemental owl again - it took 6 months and I was really pleased with the foliage.

What was most satisfying about this was I took two animator with me who haf neber seen this movie before and they loved it. One turned round to me afterwards and said "I didn't know Optimus Prime was going to die in this. I thought he was going to come back at the end!"

A little conversation I had on Twitter 🙂

Just came back from my second viewing of Transformers the Movie 40th Anniversary screening. The movie still holds up and absolutely cracking soundtrack and amazing animation! Still raw that Peter Cullen has passed but glad to see his final performance as Prime was shown on the big screen.

It's good to know I grew up in Shropshire, a place that helped inspire J. R. R. Tolkien to create The Shire.

Ow. -1 to wisdom.

Just about to have a wisdom tooth removed. I'm nearly 42 and never had a tooth pullled before so this is a little nerve wracking.

Hopefully starting a new job in Ocotber. I've only been in this one for just over a month and it has literally made me lose the will to live!

The king's adviser is actually a nice guy:

FULLY ANIMATED EPISODE 1 IS OUT NOWWWW 🌟 youtu.be/6_7L80WaIuU?...

Had to put Muppet Treasure Island on simply because I miss Tim Curry.

Okay, I'm confused with Stuart Fails to Save the Universe because wtf is with these run times per episode? They range from a reasonable 24 minutes to less than 15 minutes!

What gif shows up when you type your name?

So basically "What if Scrooge had a point" Clearly a rich higher up who never understood the meaning of a Christmas Carol decided they didn't like the message of "be generous and loving to your fellow man".

Spent the last 3 Sunday afternoons watching the Lord of the Rings extended trilogy in the cinema for the first time. It's been wonderful.

Darn, Stanley Tucci was in the Cardiff Market filming the other day not far from where I used to work!

I may have regrets reading this #werewolf book. On closer inspection I realise I didn't read the whole blurb, especially the bit about someone having a "smouldering gaze".

As an Englishman I always panic when I get down to only 3 boxes of tea left in the cupboard.

It's so nice to wake up to a downpour of rain after all the heat we've experienced for far too long. Also got my first pay cheque from work. I, of course, am celebrating by booking a wisdom tooth removal on the 10th of September.
