As a late birthday gift to myself I have taken this week off work to finally make some real progress on my #gamedev project that's been sitting in the idea stage for years now. Day 1 focused on base technical stuff I want out of the way, like the hex grid, pathfinding, and terrain mesh generation.

This was really tough.. so many good options. I don't think I'll ever be able to pick a single favorite game of all time; most of these options have been my favorite game at some point.

Blender just crashed after 8 hours of modelling and if it didn't have autosaves I think I would've just quit gamedev on the spot.

It’s such a contrasting experience going from partying with colourful fluffs on the weekend, then having to go into work and spend a week doing a course on business strategy and value creation.

Going to the Berkshire furs party today was an amazing time. However it only made me want a fursuit even more. I NEEEED one. It is medically necessary for my continued existence that I can be a snow leopard on the dance floor.
