The NYT story does not even include the word rape. Not once.

Beyond a new rape allegation, the @democrats-judiciary.house.gov report implicates current Attorney General Todd Blanche, stating he "may have engaged in criminal obstruction of justice while acting on a mission to protect Trump," referring to an interview with Ghislaine Maxwell. Seems like news!

Politician:"I'm running on a platform of killing your friends by stripping them of their rights and healthcare and demonizing them in our society with the goal of forcing them out of public forever" Me:"This guy sucks and we shouldn't vote for him" Lib:"You cant be a single issue voter right now!"
im over trans genocide being described as a ‘single issue’ like we’re jus talking about tax rises or something.

This is where "it's just trans sports bans" leads you, Democrats supporting overtly genocidal policies that would kill tens of thousands of trans people. But at least we'll be marched into the camps by someone in blue, right?
Josh Turek of Iowa, Democrat, comes out with one of the worst anti-trans ads yet. Not only is it an anti-sports ad, it proposes a ban on federal funding for gender affirming care. That would hit all medicaid and medicare patients, and any ACA federally-subsidized plans as well. Horrific.
Voting for candidates like this means supporting someone who falls for far right lies, has no moral compass, doesn't understand science, is bad at politics, wants to interfere in your medical decisions, doesn't value privacy, and has no problem working with bigots Walking red flags in every way
transphobia is rooted in far right conspiracies, medical disinformation, and science denialism. even if you don’t care about trans ppl you are causing wider problems if you elect those candidates.

"Look, they have found a small population that they can openly hate - and it disgusts me. We should not be in the business, as government, of deciding who or who should not have healthcare. Who or who should not play sports."
@wellmanformo.bsky.social this is gold and you should absolutely clip out each of these responses and slam them here on Bluesky because they're not just great answers but also really show how smart and capable he is and why he should win this race
I don't know why Dems and the media aren't putting way more money, time, and attention behind @fpwellman.bsky.social He's about to flip a red district held by an awful incumbent and he's doing it without throwing trans people or immigrants under the bus Watch him absolutely stand on business
@fpwellman.bsky.social I appreciate that you can run a good campaign and take on a long time incumbent in a red state and not have to resort to throwing trans people or immigrants under the bus to It's nice to have someone who wants to fight the fascists without compromising his moral compass
@repdelbene.bsky.social literally what the fuck is wrong with you? Please, tell us the name of the consultant or dogshit agency telling you that this is a way to win. We're trying to fight fascism and you guys are acting like absolute fucking clowns.
The DCCC funding this means that the Democratic party itself, not individual politicians, is endorsing anti-trans policies as an electoral talking point

In a major escalation in Dems embracing anti-trans positions, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, the official campaign arm of House Democrats, released its first anti-trans ad supporting Nancy Lacore in SC-01. Transphobia is spreading among dems. Subscribe to support our journalism.

Are we gonna do this, Bluesky? Are we all just gonna not understand accounting? 72B$ of the 80B$ is convertible notes. They became greater liabilities because the company's valuation skyrocketed. They don't have an 80B$ loss in the sense that almost everyone here is imagining.
Anthropic logged net loss of over $80 billion in first half of 2026, WSJ reports reut.rs/4z2Zi9J
I don't want to pay you to shut up about Dems being cowards and terrible at their jobs listening to this tool, but how much would it cost to get you to find Matt Yglesias and take a big shit right in his mouth so he shuts the fuck up? That's something I could definitely figure out how to crowdfund.
just the thought that anyone in the democratic party is listening to this guy as he complains about how the concessions the democrats have made to the right are too "half-hearted" is all i need to keep spreading the message not to vote for these candidates if you are trans or have trans loved ones
This is the response that these weirdo genocide supporters think makes Abdul a terrorist and makes racist questions about him relevant instead of just pure bigotry. Go ahead and judge for yourself.
This is how CNN covered Abdul El-Sayed berating a young voter who asked him a relevant question about terrorism. El-Sayed in the past said that a Hezbollah-inspired attack on a Michigan Jewish preschool was a response to Israel’s actions.
"I see what you're saying about us all pooping our pants. I see him criticizing the decisions I made and the president has made about shitting ourselves. But fundamentally, we have shit in our pants. I'd like to know his solution for the problem we have right now of the shit we took in our pants."
JD Vance: "I see what Abdul El-Sayed says about the war in Iran. I see him criticizing decisions the president has made, the military has made. But fundamentally we are where we are.I'd like to know what's Abdul El-Sayed's solution for the problem we have right now? It's easy to criticize"

So anti-trans democrats alienated progressive voters and LGBTQ people and their allies for no benefit? And those of us sounding the alarm on how terrible an idea selling out trans people was were entirely correct? But who could have known?!
NARRATIVE BUSTER: After months of anti-trans ads by Republicans, the latest ABC/Washington Post/Ipsos poll shows... Democrats have a +9 advantage on "transgender issues." abcnews.com/Politics/dem...
Chilling video of the diabolical terrorist mastermind that the GOP and every centrist Democrat have banded together to try and defeat

SCOOP: 'Tommy' from the now-viral exchange with Abdul El-Sayed is Thomas Teepell, a former staffer for Republican Senator Josh Hawley with close ties to Christian Nationalist Sean Feucht. He's the son of a former Bobby Jindal staffer whose consultant work was instrumental in getting Hawley elected.
The problem is that the only solution in our current system to this is voting with our wallets and people aren't willing to do that They won't leave X, they won't leave Twitter, they won't leave TikTok, they won't stop seeing Paramount shit, they won't stop consuming media from awful people at all
It’s taking a long time for people to wake up to the fact that these platforms are not public forums but privately owned companies with terrible agendas and total control. If you lay down with these dogs…
Now more than ever, we need to support things like @bsky.app trying to decentralize social media and take it out of the hands of billionaire corporations with ATProto We need to financially support things like @dropout.tv or @nebula.tv to fund creators outside the gross billionaire fascist weirdos

Y'all should know the play by now. They start off with whatever seems the most socially acceptable kink to cry bloody murder over, then it's just a hop and a skip and a jump to everything suddenly being criminalized. Kink content is important. Even the kinks you don't like. Remember that.
Roleplaying incest scenarios in porn will be criminalized in the UK as of next month, 2 years in prison for possession and 5 years for publishing I don’t know what to say that I haven’t said, this is bleak as fuck Any UK ABDL furries should also be extremely weary as this law targets you too
Abortion is so popular that my backward ass state of Missouri gave Republicans a super majority in our state government on the same ballot that passed the most comprehensive pro-choice abortion protection in the nation as a permanent constitutional amendment
Nope. Abortion rights are in danger because we don't have many leaders willing to stand up and say it's a social good. Instead they talk about "women's repro healthcare." Abortion is so popular that Colorado's repro health amendment with no fetal viability ban passed in Lauren Boebert's district.

"normal people don't give a shit about children suffering and dying" is exactly what I would expect from someone trying to defend Israel's actions tbh
No, normal people don't make their whole life about a single cause that they're misinformed on, while ignoring other serious causes that can't be blamed on the Jews.
