The “Under 4 Player Development” guy at the party I went to Saturday was scarily accurate in his depiction of youth sports…

This offense is bad. Reynolds isn’t ready. Vizzina wasn’t the guy. If this doesn’t drive home the importance of the portal to Dabo, I don’t know what will

basing it on the wrong replay is just bad process

@cjzero.bsky.social do you have the TTU-UC game where the replay center is saying the exact opposite of what we’re looking at on the screen?

One time at Clemson, they gave us posters in the student section (with seats, not the Hill) and during halftime I kept ripping pieces off and throwing them between the camera and the halftime reporter while they were on the sideline. I still have no idea how I didn’t get run

There's this concept that unemployed people should "treat looking for a job like it's full time work" that doesn't really survive first contact with the *actual* labor market. There are very quickly diminishing returns to looking for work.

Clemson has a good shot at this

Remember the Puerto Rico Bowl that was going to have a MAC tie in? Change of plans. The San Juan Bowl will be an ACC Sun Belt matchup.

We put up an interactive graph re: X conversations re: the (discovered to be fake) Wedgewood polls. Several "rigged election" narratives are emerging around this case. We're working on an analysis, but making this graph available for folks who want to explore faculty.washington.edu/kstarbi/Spot...

Worth watching this emerging story: Wedgewood Polls alleged to be fake; has been picked up & amplified/integrated by established sources & other pollsters; may be tied to prediction market trading; is likely to throw doubt upon current poll numbers (which will feed "rigged election" rumors later).

Mostly I'm laughing about this but there really is something sick at the heart of our epistemology on this site sometimes. Probably it was always like this, but things aren't true because your ideology demands it. All you have to do is read.

I don’t usually watch dancing with the stars but Tatiana and Alfonso dancing in memory of James Avery got me choked up

this is concrete proof that the "defend women's sports" crowd was mostly full of shit and is happy to work to remove athletic opportunities for women across all of college. This was so predictable, and college administrators need to wake up to where the conservative legal movement is going

This is great news, albeit overdue and not nearly enough. If the evidence is “thin” (and it is), Johnson shouldn’t be in prison at all. He needs to be released. He’s still in prison because AL AG Steve Marshall continues to ignore the overwhelming evidence of innocence.

JUST IN: The police shooting that killed 1-year-old Kohen Wiley as he sat in his mother’s lap in a Walmart parking lot in Senatobia, Miss., in June “was justified,” Mississippi Attorney General Lynn Fitch’s office said on Monday. Her office will not charge the white officer who shot the child.

Jalen Hurts is a SOLDIER for this. 😳 He started the Eagles' Week 5 game against the Jaguars on 36 hours without sleep on the recommendation of doctors following his initial blood clot diagnosis... and STILL threw for 220 yards and a TD. 🔥

People are gonna do the whole "Jalen Hurts is a warrior" thing and I agree but also this is not good! He didn't sleep! bsky.app/profile/raps...

Eagles QB Jalen Hurts, who is out for the season after several blood clots were revealed in his lungs. Before the London game, Hurts was in the hospital until 4 am and did not sleep because sleep was a risk. He played the game without having slept. Crazy.

It’s important to remember these people are cowards to their miserable core. The kind of people that thought wearing affliction t shirts meant they were tough and could fight

The generation that got to buy cheap houses thanks to a postwar construction boom, then blocked new housing construction to juice their asset values is now whining that they have to pay taxes on their unearned wealth. Just breathtaking selfishness.

The pivot now is that AES “talked down” to Tommy. Anyone who understands America knows that is code for AES being “uppity” to a White person. He’s supposed to endure disrespect and gotchas and never complain. At baseline, asserting your humanity with self respect will always be read as offensive
