Personally I have no opinion, I don't follow Brazilian politics! I don't live in Brazil, I can't vote in Brazil! I like how they voted though! Fuck Trump and the people he wants in charge!

Following US politics is difficult enough, I don't have the a big enough brain to follow the politics of every country aside from what is reported by the news. Hell many Americans can't even do that in our own country!

USA, you're up next. Do the right thing and vote the MAGA evil out of government. The world needs the old USA back who was a world leader and respected. Good luck.

I did my job, it's time for everyone else to do it too. The good old days are coming back (well, maybe we shouldn't be focusing on the past because things weren't all that great for everyone in the past either, but that's for the future, first is voting)

Trump has now has several mid term losses. Quebec voted for the PQ however it is a minority govt. Takes referendum off the table. Albertans voted for no referendum. Brazil re-elected Lula de Silva.

The global trend of "anti-fragility" is fascinating; we've reached a point where the most effective campaign strategy is simply being the opposite of a specific American. Stability via contrast.

Why is it that Trump now claims the Brazilian election was rigged? Is it because he's too thick to realise that there are thinking people who don't want right-wing governments? Or is it that he thinks he has a divine right to always know best? Whatever he thinks most know he's wrong!

My friend in Brazil is so excited! Bolsonaro is out, Serbia's dictator is out, next will be Netanyahu's defeat, then our blue wave in the US. Kicking authoritarianism off the planet, one country at a time!

I don't understand it either. I spent 20 years in the UK, and it's obvious to me that the left is red, and the right is blue. Typical of the US that they get it wrong!

A PhD who doesn't know that it's Red for Republicans because they used to be leftist and flip flopped on ideology- maybe spend some time educating yourself as to why it might be like that before assuming all Americans are stupid.

Turnout did it. Lula lost round one by 2.2 million votes and won the runoff by 4.3 million, 51.75% to 48.25%. Abstention fell from a record 21% to 19%, mostly among voters who live far from polling stations. Strongmen count on people staying home. Brazil and Serbia didn’t.

this is not the triumph you think it is, it is a win for Russia+China, with Bolsonaro aligning with the US a new Democrat Congress, or a new Democrat President could have pushed Bolsonaro to reforms that actually help the Brazilians, with Lula in charge the country will be looted by China+Russia

Has Trump declared that the election is completely and totally a fraud yet? It will be very interesting to see how this plays out over the next couple of days.

El Tribunal Electoral de Brasil declaró al presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva ganador de la segunda vuelta presidencial del domingo frente al senador derechista Flávio Bolsonaro Brasilians were wise enough to know the "Brasil trump" was bad for their country & w/ a US BlueWave coming, they need US

No doubt on that. Thanks to the Brazilians for getting out to make their point known. This is an example, voters in the USA, vote to stop the ignorance that is ruining this democracy by way of convicted sex criminal trump, his administration & his minions in the senate and congress, vote "BLUE!!!"

Two down, two to go. Youth voters reject Bolsanaro in Brazil and Putins friend in Serbia. Now we’re just waiting for the same thing to happen in Israel and the US.

Third eye open people mind control every thought from the rest of us with telepathic magic. Voices in people’s heads? They are other humans on Earth who mind control the rest of us. Look your friends in the eyes. They’re bad at keeping their cover. #endoursuffering

Congrats, you didn't Trump yourselves — you chose the socialist retread and called it progress. America tried decline under Biden already. We're good.

America Trumped itself on purpose and I'd vote to do it again. Brazil just re-elected a man whose victory lap is regulating speech. One of these is not like the other.
