For a full on historic saga set during the fall of the Iberian Peninsula's last Islamic kingdom & the horrors of the Spanish Inquisition under Catholic rule that followed, pick up Granada by Radwa Ashour.

You gotta assume that after the first five, the next eleventy bazillion emails are going straight to spam. Anyway, fairly sure I've said something negative about Bryan Johnson online, so obviously quaking in my boots here.

This is honestly incredible (pejatorive)

Chasing an invoice for the first time in... a while, actually. Had forgotten how much irritation and ill will it causes. I don't particularly need the money and it's not a huge amount, but this is a big organisation and paying their freelancers on time should be basic.

God almighty booking tickets online is an ordeal. Direct Ferries sticks a €7 booking fee on for the privilege of aggregating three routes with workable online booking. I'm not sure what is up with ALSA. Neither Google Maps nor Rome2Rio seem to have accurate deets of smaller Spanish bus routes.

What are your favourite questions to assess the quality of a menu? Some of mine: Does the carbonara have cream? Does the vindaloo have vinegar? Does the Caesar salad have anchovy in the dressing?
