This post couldn't be more wrong and biased. Racism and homophobia are considered crimes in Brazil. Same thing goes with n4zi propaganda.

The Washington Post@washingtonpost.com

A Brazilian comedian has been sentenced to 8 years in prison for ‘bigoted’ jokes told in 2022. The decision marks the latest effort by Brazil to place limits on freedom of expression.

It’s time to simplify things a bit: Artificial Intelligence is fancy statistics. AI Agents are workflows that use fancy statistics. You can stick to the buzzwords (it’s good for business) but don’t forget about the basics. (This post is sponsored by passionate LinkedIn posts on AI 😅)

This is a necessary (although impopular) take. The only way people will understand how damaging tariffs can be is be seeing how much it will impact their daily lives.

I’m going to put my rich guy hat on and say I hope that Mexico and Canada issue equal, retaliatory tariffs and stick to them for an extended period. I apologize to all the people it will cost money and the businesses it will hurt. But it’s the only way for tariffs to be seen for what they are

On another useless note, my plans of reading more in 2025 yielded its first finished book: The Three-Body Problem by Liu Cixin. Got so hooked up with the plot that I’ve finished in about a week. Still got Dark Forest and Death’s End to go, though.

Been following up on Meta’s changes on fact-checking. To me the reason for this change has one simple explanation: retain shareholder value. With the FTC probe on Meta for acquiring IG and WhatsApp and the upcoming administration, we will do everything possible to not lose money.

He’s also backed by a “tech bro-friendly” environment with Thiel, Sachs, Musk and Andreessen, so why not jumping on the bandwagon? There’s much more money than ideology at stake.

Grande dia 😎👍

🇧🇷 Braga Netto, ex-ministro de Jair Bolsonaro e seu companheiro de chapa nas eleições de 2022, é o primeiro general quatro estelas a ser preso na história do Brasil.

After bouncing around with different prioritization frameworks I’ve settled for a few years now on a simple Effort x Reward matrix based on a mix of leading and lagging indicators + Positioning. How are you prioritizing your client’s jobs to be done today?

I’ve been more convinced over time that trying to implement a framework as-is without the proper due diligence to understand how the team works is a recipe for disaster. Context matters.

I don’t know how long Bluesky will be like old times Twitter but it’s being nice to witness more curious interactions. We all need an echo chamber to decompress.

Anybody out there leveraging Outcome-Based Teams (OBTs) in complex products with cross-cutting domains? Would love to learn about your experience leading teams through learning curve in new domains of the product.

Because… government. 🫠

Loving the fact that the Department for Government Efficiency is living up to its founding principles by appointing TWO department leaders.

Aqueles que são contra o fim da escala 6x1 são, não raro, os mesmos que gostam de passear em Paris onde cada vez mais se adota a escala 4x3. Defina hipocrisia.

Now that Xwitter is no longer a thing, how can I expand my network connections here? Looking for people that are in Product Management, Design and Music. Anyone out there? 👋
