This seems to apply to all situations. When someone has to claim that they are the "greatest" at something, oftentimes they are average at best. True greats don't have to repeat it, and most skilled people are humble, realize there is always someone better and try to improve.

Apps for everything. I know why they do it, it allows tracking, but it also makes me not want to go there. Don't degrade your experience and force people to use your app. Stop the 'discounts' that are app only, those aren't discounts but bribes.

So tired of products promoting that their product uses "AI". Just tell us you are sending data to a third party without an opt out. No one needs an "AI" powered toothbrush or mirror. I miss dumb products.

I am not a fan of politics and wish I could be apolitical. The last four years have been blissful for the most part and I already dread the next term. The constant anxiety of what craziness will come next. I fear another world war will be upon us and the citizens of the world will pay the price.
