Speaking at the Albany forum, Harry Moran, Third Act Upstate NY: "What we're seeing is the equivalent of the amount of electricity that 80,000 homes are in the city...So it's a massive scale project. And the impact on that is really large because this demand is 24/7."

The Constitution Pipeline was canceled in 2020 by the Williams Companies after New York State refused to issue the project a Water Quality Certificate under the Federal Clean Water Act. Now Trump is trying to bring it back with Defense Production Act funding.
