A new survey of 1,000 American adults found that the strongest supporters of transgender sports bans are not the people who admire women most: they are the people who hold the most hostile views about women. www.helenwebberley.com/news/transge...

helenwebberley.comAre transgender sports bans really about protecting women? | Dr Helen WebberleyThe data says no. Those most hostile to women are most in favour of banning trans athletes.

This ad is pure genius. Republicans are creepy AF and their obsession with kids in bathrooms is frankly beyond weird. Meanwhile, they’ve got no answers for gas prices, groceries, utility bills, or anything else. No notes on this ad. It’s perfect

“Sometimes, my previous boyfriends would sometimes start questioning their sexuality. They would ask me: Does dating you mean I am not straight? Their sexuality becomes the priority and not my non-binary identity. I am expected to undermine my identity because it’s an ‘inconvenience’,”

Healthy masculinity requires a modicum of vulnerability and self knowledge. Cis men tend to lack that kind of dedication and self-awareness.

I have too many relationships with people I have to remind to do things and who also claim I definitely have ADHD, and today I am getting sadcross in a way that makes me want to go shopping about it. Let me have my EUPD and ability to use a calendar and shut the fuck up.

What do you do when Royal Mail have delivered your (accurately addressed) parcel to a random house near you that you can't identify, and the inhabitants of said address have kept it?

Cafe near me has an apple crumble cheesecake that Ive been eyeing up for weeks. I finally bought it, only to find its full of cinnamon. Make apple things without cinnamon, please! Other flavours are also good!

It also reminds me of a conversation I had with a gay trans friend. He’d always be so pissed off when he’d see events that would say no unaccompanied cis men. But trans men are fine. He found that very patronising and disaffirming. Like, oh trans men don’t count, don’t worry about it

(implied straight, cis) boyfriends to Pride and you response is to say, yes, quite right, men are all absolute arseholes and Im sorry I fancy them, are you serving yourself or your haters? Are you serving your community or the people who don't want to see it existing?

How are we supposed to make bisexualities acceptable when (mainly) cis women are running round shouting about unfortunate it is that they're not gay? Do you know how many bi+ women legitimately struggle with that? If you're hearing endless discourse about how bi+ women shouldn't bring their

And finally. That shit is straight up biphobic. STOP APOLOGISING FOR WHO YOU'RE ATTRACTED TO. Stop letting bullshit systems of queer hierarchy tell you that attraction to all genders is somehow less queer, or less pure, or less worthy. It's not feminist to apologise for who you desire.

Casting any part of your attraction as unfortunate is exactly what biphobes want you to do. Remember, biphobia is not fear/disgust of same gender loving, it is fear of bothness. Of neither/nor-ness. Do not make shame around one or more parts of your pattern of attraction ok.

Cis men are the least likely gender group to accept come out to their friends and family. Do you think your little joke helps? You can choose not to date cis men - my Feeld and Her profiles both specifiy ABCD, but if you want the bi+ communities to be for ALL bi+ people, if you want bi+ men to

Right. First off. And least politically important. It's a shit joke. I love a joke, to the extent that I OFTEN choose funny over true (and indeed funny over nice). I like wit. I am attracted to it. This. Ain't. It. It's not witty and it's not original. It's tired and its boring, and
