I never really thought about some of these uses of AI, kind of wild x.com/elder_pliniu...
"One reason that the atrophy of coding skills is concerning is the “paradox of supervision”—as mentioned above, effectively using Claude requires supervision, and supervising Claude requires the very coding skills that may atrophy from AI overuse." -- www.anthropic.com/research/how...

Ok hear me out: color-e-ink, horizontal form-factor, retro handheld. Think Gameboy Color with a color-e-ink screen. This would make an awesome JRPG device. Watching www.youtube.com/watch?v=j2Mx... I feel like the technology is almost there!
www.theregister.com/2025/12/16/m... The next James Bond movie is going to be very boring. "Bond, James Bond, 007, License to... Claude-Code"
tangled.org is such a cool idea. Really excited to see what other innovations come from the at-proto!
If you needed another reason to stop using "X" products www.politico.com/news/2025/05...
FINALLY native container support is coming to macOS simonwillison.net/2025/Jun/9/a...
I love everything about this bonfirenetworks.org/posts/slow_s...
blog.pragmaticengineer.com/stack-overfl... Sad to see the death of Stack overflow. I think the idea of codifying community reputation/trust and increasing permissions as that reputation grows is still a great idea for online communities.
Really excited to see how this pans out www.slate.auto/share/Y7BSXH
This is going to be my next car www.slate.auto/en. So cool!

A company with no role in JavaScript’s past or future has no right to control its name. -- deno.com/blog/deno-v-...
Love the design of this page thebrowser.company/values/ and in general The Browser Company is pumping out some really beautiful web designs
Spend a few weeks exploring greener pastures (react, next.js, svelte, deno fresh, vue.js, htmlx, astro, alpine.js, tailwind, unocss, web components, ect.) Take away: tailwind+alpine is a powerful UI combo. Paired with a server-first architecture like astro.build makes a particularly nice tech-stack
Long time coming, excited to see the addition of developer.mozilla.org/en-US/blog/j... (until this is a stable cross-browser option, there's always moment.github.io/luxon/#/)
Really cool to see fosdem.org/2025/news/20... response to a planned protest. I don't agree w/ drewdevault.com/2025/01/16/2... nevertheless rather than silencing him, they're allowing him to protest. Freedom to assemble, peacefully protest, and exercising of free speech is great to see.

A little late to the game on this, but Sentry's License fsl.software is the coolest thing since [AL]?GPLv3 It seems like such a good solution to the issues of open-source sustainability.
docs.quadratichq.com looks like such a cool project, looking forward to their self-hosted docs
