I think what the council is ACTUALLY saying is that they have their minds made up regardless of the factsβ€”the mayor is entirely to blame, because they don't like her or support her politically, and they've decided it's also impossible that SPD was to blame for the delay in its own press conference.

Saw this on FB today. 😻 "Cats as the Fifty-three Stations of the Tōkaidō" created by Japanese artist Utagawa Kuniyoshi in 1850. Satirical artwork of 55 cats representing the 53 rest areas along the Tōkaidō road, that followed the coast from Edo to Kyoto. #Japanese #Cats #Art #CatsofBsky

Hey BakingSky bakers! 🧁 Has anyone used other substitutes for pie weights or beans when par-baking a pie crust? I'm experimenting with a Pyrex bowl and a bit of water inside, so wish me luck. 🀞🏼 #ScientificBakingMethod #InquiringMindsWant2Know #Baking #questions

It was a successful outcome for my substitute pie weights using a Pyrex bowl with some water. πŸ₯³ The pie crust did stick to the foil a little bit when I pulled it off, so next time, I'll spritz it with some cooking oil spray. Pumpkin pie for the win! πŸ₯° #PumpkinPie 🧁 #Nof1 #Baking #Research

BREAKING: Democrats just tried to pass a standalone bill to fund WIC & SNAP to make sure families don't go hungry during the Republican shutdown. Republicans BLOCKED it. So Trump won't use emergency funds to keep SNAP running, and Republicans won't let any bills pass. Shameful.

If you’re planning to protest tomorrow: 1. Thank you! Make it big. Stay peaceful. 2. Be careful. There will be people trying to agitate and stir shit up. 3. Take a buddy if you can. If not, video is your friend. 4. Have a plan to get the fuck out if it goes sideways.
