Trans Pride Exeter’s afterparty is an evening of cabaret; finishing off a hard day’s protesting against transphobic dystopia with a show! Isn’t it all a show? We’ve drag kings and queens, and burlesque delights, with Climax Host Cleo Toris and Moonlight Garden Host Pandora Midnight.

Following the march, we welcome you to join us at St David's Community Centre at 1:30PM for a fun-packed day of workshops, live music and stalls! There's a quiet room for people to chill out in and a community cafe serving drinks and light refreshments, with vegan and gluten free options available.

Tomorrow the EHRC Guidance comes into force. To mark this event, Trans Pride Exeter invites you to the funeral of the Equality Act 2010. Made to protect the rights of minority groups, it has been subverted so trans, non-binary and intersex people can be segregated from all single sex spaces.

This will be based on appearance, where one person's bigotry will now demands another's exclusion: the central principle of the Equality Act is no more. Despite backlash this come into effect on August 5, 2026. Come mourn its untimely passing.

This is a really good article by @nancymk.bsky.social A lot of trans people know how bad it is for trans kids. A lot of cis people do not know. Please share this widely with the cis people in your life. The UK is making life impossible for trans children.

Trans+ children and their families are living with the cumulative impact of a government targeting them and making their lives less safe, says @nancymk.bsky.social

Thank you to everyone who came and supported our protest yesterday! It was great to see so many supportive voices in opposing the upcoming segregation of trans people. Now is the time to act - please write to your MP with one of these simple guides:

The new EHRC guidance breaks the Equality Act - Trans/non-binary and gender non-comforming people can be excluded from facilities and pushed out of daily life. It will be law in 40 days - without any manifesto commitments, or even a single vote unless our MPs demand one NOW. Join us in protest

This is such a big deal for the trans community. This is what can actually fix trans healthcare! 💚💚💚

We have heard that the Green Party has passed a motion at conference calling for desegregation of trans healthcare and to end the practice of GICs and to move it to primary care. And you can definitely see why they voted for it here: www.wearequeeraf.com/gender-clini...
