This is also why I think it is so important to include the crimes of Italian fascists and Japanese militarists (and even of the Soviets) because the lesson is not 'the Nazis were uniquely bad' but rather 'if you let authoritarians take and hold power in *any* country, this is what they will do.'

He is bragging about theft. Neither he, nor the United States nor anyone else in his orbit has the legal right to those assets. And when we get the majority in January, we will ensure that crimes are prosecuted.

The existence of moving chains has been documented in multiple cities across different countries using increasingly fine-grained and sophisticated data. The relationship between housing supply, demand, and rent growth is well known. Denying these phenomena is quackery.

Two babies died. An 18-year-old with measles died from a rare complication that caused inflammation in the brain. At least six infants have been born infected with measles. There’s no way to predict which kids will get hit hardest.

No doubt one of the coolest things in social media is hearing directly from artists (all genres and media). I don’t even play or collect this game; I just think it’s neat.

Magic: the Gathering fans, the DUALITY DISTORTED Secret Lair was revealed at last with a new card by Yours Truly. The art order was a black magic version of Brainstorm, which I was super excited to paint!

But I was assured by this same publication that Elon was stepping away from politics.

Musk has funneled more than $276 million into Republican groups and his PAC since July, building a huge turnout operation for the midterms. “The staggering amount of money makes Mr. Musk, the richest person in the world, by far the largest known donor in the midterms” www.nytimes.com/2026/10/12/u...

Asking “what distro should I use” on a public forum inevitably gets a list of every flavor of Linux in roughly proportion to their market shares.

I'll buy a round for the first reporter that gets Hegseth to admit that his excitement stems from the prospect of killing a non-white person or from killing an infidel.

they were *lying* when they were "worried" about Asian-American college applicants, and they are *lying* now when they're "worried" about "strivers." They do not want non-white people being in any way superior (or evident) to white people. that's it. that's the whole thing.

They're working to undermine the notion of presidential accountability. Anything to establish "We didn't do it, and if we did, what does it matter?" as the predominant attitude.

The transparency of the whole scene is really the icing on the cake. The redness in his face is really what’s ultimately disqualifying in a Republican nominee. It shows that he still feels shame.

I didnt know it gets funnier than a whole ass United States Senator accusing a man of being at a Hawks game in ATL when he was at a Hawkeyes game in MD, BUT... He let every media outlet know he had a big moment coming so they all saw him clown himself and watched Amy Klobuchar clean up the pieces.

They’re throwing “national security concerns” at everything from “I want a ballroom and an arch” to “I don’t like news reporters.” Just the most transparent fig leaf to ask SCOTUS to let him be just a little dictator-ish.

Angry@angrystaffer.bsky.social

No matter what side of the aisle you’re on, this argument should be chilling. Trying to limit freedom of the press under the guise of national security is what tinpot dictators do. That’s not how a functioning democracy works.

I just honestly can't get over that Save Women Sports, an anti-trans group could only find five trans athletes competing K through 12. Five. The NCAA president testified a year and a half ago or so that there were less than 10 college level trans athletes. What the fuck are we doing, people
