Professionally, worked for 25+ years in emergency services (EMT, firefighter, dispatcher, etc.). I love animals, especially dogs, and have done a lot of dog rescue. Reading and writing fantasy stories takes up most of the time that is left!

Trump *himself* filed a financial disclosure form this year that asserted he made over a billion dollars last year. That's not a claim from the fake news, or the crazy liberals. That is Trump's own filing.

To be clear, evil billionaire scumbag Zuckerberg shutting down the official No Kings account in the middle of nationwide protests isn’t a mistake, it’s an assault on a free speech and expression, it’s pure fascism.

Every time someone states what ought to be, people rush to the mentions to explain that it won't happen, and now I am talking to those people, and I want to be very clear: YOU are the reason it won't happen. Every time you say that you are taking energy away from "should" and reinforcing "is."

The last time Trump criticized Putin was July 31st 2025, 443 days ago. The last time Trump criticized Zelenskyy is measured in hours, not days. The US taking the side of the aggressor is a truly terrible global strategic signal, and will destabilize the world for years to come.

I wish Dems would fully understand this...and its implications...how it ties to Trump, accountability, elite/billionaire impunity and privilege, how our system is rigged, inequality.

It’s not just about affordability. Maybe for the first time since 1974, voters say their main concern heading into the midterms is corruption in government. Great to see.

Left out of the whole “paying more for gas is worth it” bs from Republicans is the fact that Trump said Iran was going to surrender unconditionally a few days after he started the war and that gas prices would not be affected.

The Washington Post obtained the list of donors funding Trump’s ballroom, that includes Apple ($25m), the Adelsons ($25m) and the Winklevoss twins ($5m). Not on the list: Trump, who said the ballroom would be paid “100% by me and some friends of mine”. Gift link.👇 wapo.st/4yiUDPx

The biggest thing I’d want to get across to younger people pre-midterms is that, when I was a kid, there was a middle class. Teachers, plumbers, construction workers had houses. Nice cars. Nice things. Supported their families, took vacations. Republicans took that away from us.

(Side note—I HATE that all the Dem leaders will talk about is “affordability” right now. And if you’re familiar with my posts, you know I’m fired up about a lot Trump is doing right now. But young people have got to know this too. The middle class existed, recently! It can again.)

The leaders of my Boy Scout troop were almost all blue-collar. Mechanics, carpenters, factory workers, etc. Every one of them had a big nice house in suburbia, and supported their family. Imagine that! It’s unfathomable now, right? Republicans created billionaires, and fucked the rest of us.

I can’t even begin to stress to younger people how different life is now. Don’t buy the narrative that you can’t have nice things; that our tax dollars shouldn’t do anything for us, because, “socialism”. Vote blue, keep it up, and we all have nice things again. We’ll bring back the middle class.

Reagan fucked us. Nothing ever trickled down. At all. It was a scam, and that was the beginning of the end for the middle class. And now of course it’s a thousand times worse under Trump. A million times worse. It doesn’t have to be like this.

It doesn’t have to be like this! IN MY LIFETIME (and I’m not that old), people comfortably paid their bills. Life was good. We weren’t rich, my mom worked in a nursing home. Yet we had a hot tub on our back porch. Now an adult myself, with a good full-time job, and I can’t afford groceries.

It absolutely makes my head want to explode that basically the whole world backs Ukraine…except my own country. 😑🤯 It is absolutely next-level evil for Trump and Musk to be siding with Russia and helping them hurt Ukrainians. And it’s also treason. 🇺🇦
