I’m counting down the hours to the end of political ads here in Ohio. My SO and I have taken to talking back to them when they air.

So in Ohio, we are getting anti-Vivek TV ads from the Libertarian candidate! That will definitely work to help Amy Acton.

So, in Ohio, Vivek’s latest ads credit him with suspending the state’s gas tax for 90 days. I’m not sure how that is possible, given that he is not an elected official who could actually do this.

Obama was in Cleveland today for a rally with Amy Acton and Sherrod Brown. No empty seats and people turned away. That’s how you make an appearance.

Just saw You Can See Everything in the theater. Right now, my brain is trying to get wrapped around it! I also don’t want to spoil anything! All I can say is that the film is about three people: Holmes, her husband, and Nathan Fielder. Also, give it time to build.

Since Trump can only pardon federal crimes, why don’t more states start to review the actions of those pardoned for state crimes, particularly in states where the governor won’t pardon them again?

I have heard a number of speculations as to why Trump decided to bomb Iran. It’s simple: figure out how he can make money from it, and you’ll have your reason!

Doesn’t anyone else remember that Artemis II was the name of the lunar mission destroyed in Superman II?

I’m glad they pointed out that this is all going on during the government shutdown.

On Day 15 of the government shutdown, Sen. Jim Justice celebrated his bulldog Babydog’s 6th birthday with cake pops, balloons and a quick press conference. NBC News’ Julie Tsirkin covered the paw-ty.

So Congress is going to hold hearings on the future of sports broadcasting. It’s great to know that they care so much about the vital aspects of the country. /s

With all the stories about Trump and his comments on Columbus Day, I am terrified about what he will do about Juneteenth, particularly since it is a Federal holiday.

Why does his face look like he said to Vance: “Get off my lawn!”

This is what happens in a society where you think you can say anything you want without consequences.

From @theathletic.bsky.social: Mary Kate Cornett was a normal 18-year-old, thriving as a college freshman at Ole Miss. Then, a false internet rumor — amplified by ESPN’s Pat McAfee — about her and her boyfriend’s father destroyed her life. nyti.ms/3RtsbYf

The biggest mistake I consistently see is regurgitating every crazy thing the orange one says as if they are all equal. He loves reactions, and people just feed his ego.
