Tbh It's actually okay to suck at stuff you enjoy doing. You don't have to gear into competition or be the absolute best. Existing and having fun is just as worthwhile. You don't have to make money off it. You don't have to get published. You can literally just create it, fail, learn, and make more

and ALSO you can become a creator on there and make a little store with stickers and little backgrounds people can put behind their posts which is so fun and cute, its such a great site for artists. like look at this. we dont utilize gamejolt enough

Honestly I don't really feel that disheartened about this. I think this gives us an example of what can happen when a studio that knows what it wants to do in a game gets the proper funding to make that idea become real. & plenty of indie devs have been making spectacular games with low funding.
