Oil & gas pollution is everywhere but it's invisible like germs. I make it visible. It is causing the climate crisis. I show their dirty secrets and expose their fraud and lies. They sue me to shut me up but I win. 5th gen Texan, hate football.

In Ireland they talked about importing LNG from New Mexico gas which the oil 💰 money soaked Gov, Michelle Lujan Grisham, assured them was cleaner than Texas gas. She is lying! NM & TX are the same and all the gas goes in the same pipelines. No gas is clean but TX & NM is the dirtiest.

“The severity of methane leaks calls into question the industry’s commitment to voluntarily reach their climate goals,” he continued, saying that the apparent infractions “certainly necessitate [the New Mexico Environment Department] pursuing enforceable rules related to methane super-emitters.”

Have you heard about the permitting bill? Guess who thinks it's a great idea? "Meg O’Neill, the chief executive of British oil company BP, which operates in the U.S., said the bill would help unlock the full potential of American energy and strengthen domestic energy security." Any questions?

“Methane emissions are not slowing down,” said @txsharon.bsky.social, an activist in Texas who has documented pollution from oil and gas for more than 20 years. “Nobody ever knows because it’s invisible.”

Unfortunately the price for the camera in that article is $130K. The article got that wrong. It would be great to have the cameras everywhere but @txsharon.bsky.social has 1000s of videos showing the problem everywhere. We need to phase it out. Fast. That is the only fix.

And yet, the industry and some of their environmental nonprofit friends continue trying to convince people that US gas and LNG is clean. The term I saw most recently was, "gold standard."

The only way to reduce methane emissions from oil and gas is to phase out oil and gas production. The oil and gas industry has had 150 years to figure out how to do it. Instead they refuse any regulation.
