as sad as I am this game won't come to fruition, this isn't going to bring it back. It's too late, it's done. If you do want a space opera in the vein of ME being made by a lot of the same devs, I would suggest you check out Exodus: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exodus_...

Does it need to be said that Mass Effect shouldn’t exist without the developers and team that was working on this game? Either they come back and make the game they were, or Mass Effect dies. kotaku.com/mass-effect-...

Most of the folks you know that are responsible for those games have either left the industry, work somewhere else, or did a failed kickstarter. It's more helpful to follow people and not studios or ip.

I've come around. The twist is like 2/3 of the way through rather than the end, so it gives them time to have fun with it, and it's a gnarly spin on a classic movie monster – a favourite of mine – that hasn't had a good movie in like 20 years

watched The Cycle. 1) if they'd mentioned in the marketing it's the same director who did the stork from VHS it would've gotten so many more people involved. It is very much a Him movie 2) the twist is so ridiculous I don't know if I can recommend it in good conscience

I'm thrilled to share my first foray into nature writing. I describe my travels through Aotearoa New Zealand to see the country's rarest birds—and use this as a vehicle to tell the stories of the islands' evolutionary history and the bold conservation efforts that saved these creatures. Gift link

The popular monsters of the era reflect the cultural zeitgeist. In the 2000s, it was zombies. In the 2010s, it was vampires. And now, it's women!

In November, Dems will likely win big. Liberals will feel relieved. In 2028, a milquetoast corporate Democrat will win the presidency, spend 4 years maintaining what Trump did as liberals go back to brunch. Then, in 2032, as life keeps getting worse, we’ll get something like President T Carlson.

The first genuinely honest ad for generative AI I've ever seen, from Microsoft / CoPilot A mediocre white guy sees his non-white colleague getting praised for good work, he asks AI to *literally copy it*, and then he gets all the praise instead: www.ispot.tv/ad/SoDi/micr...
