This is absolutely horrible! A nonverbal student with special needs was walking to Santa Maria High School when ICE agents tackled him, restrained him, and left him with a broken wrist requiring surgery, according to witnesses and school officials.

Wow, I can’t believe it has been 25 years already. Growing up just a few miles from those beautiful towers was always something special to me. My hometown, Fair Lawn, New Jersey, officially lost three lives that day, but thousands more were affected in ways that can never truly be measured.

At the time of the attacks, I was working at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas while attending UNLV. Sixteen years later, Mandalay Bay would unfortunately become the site of another tragic day in American history

Even though I had seen the towers hundreds of times growing up, something told me to bring my camera that day. I’m grateful that I did. Below are some of the pictures I was able to capture. Today, I remember and thank everyone who helped that day and everyone whose lives were lost.

I was fortunate enough to have completed an internship at the Millennium Hilton just a few months before 9/11. The hotel, located directly across the street from the World Trade Center, was closed for more than a year after the front of the building was blown out.

Seeing a lot of liberal arts majors and pundits who are suddenly constitutional law experts opine on the legality of the next steps in Missouri congressional elections. My advice is to ignore them and maybe pay attention to what the lawyers who actually litigate redistricting cases have to say.
