A win! A federal judge in Florida today ordered Trump to sit for a deposition by December 11 or face dismissal of his $10 billion defamation lawsuit against the BBC.

All pretensions of Rubio being a real statesman were shattered when he betrayed USAID after supporting us for so long. You should have heard his heartless comments to USAID staff at various embassies during his first trips abroad. But he's on the list of defendants in our ongoing legal case-

How can so many fall for these lies again and again? It kills us knowing there are so many good people working so hard to help others, yet someone like him can ruin so many lives and then just walk on to the next ridiculous thing. We will hold him accountable.

“Appears to be?” Color us surprised. No amount of his money can make up for the lives he has ruined in so many ways. But we are fighting in the courts to hold him and DOGE accountable.

The deaths and suffering from the food and health cuts are astonishing. But in the years to come we'll feel the impacts of shutting down our other programs in education, democracy, human rights, anti-corruption, climate change, job skills development, and more. The consequences will be devastating.

It’s unbelievable to think what a great position our country was in just two years ago and how we purposefully have blown that all up. But we are fighting in the courts for accountability for DOGE, Rubio, Vought…

In addition to these horrific health impacts there will be the long term consequences of shutting down our education, democracy, anti-corruption, business development, and other important programs.

Thank you. The international network of authoritarians have hated USAID for years, so that’s why we were the first to go. We hate what happened to our agency and are fighting in court to hold Doge and others accountable, but the way the dictators targeted us shows how good our work was.

Not only should the horrific damage he’s done to the world overshadow anything he does in tech, but his tech promises are just crap, period. How can anyone still buy his bs? Particularly as he continues to try to dismantle our democracy.

Congrats and thanks to our friends at AAAL for this win. The money is for malaria treatment, HIV/AIDS care, and famine relief, but USAID did so much more that is still missing. Did you know Republicans were big supporters of us until they became servants of Trump?
