I’m not convinced justice has been served. WGM must answer for its safety failures, including leaving the manual gas shutoff valve open. Don’t put all the blame on 3M just because they can pay. Three people died. WGM must also be held accountable for this tragedy. www.isssource.com/after-fatal-...

It’s sad reading this again, knowing how many people were affected by the explosion. WGM filed for bankruptcy less than two weeks later. I can’t help wondering if that’s why 3M became such a major target in the lawsuits that followed, because they were still able to pay? apnews.com/general-news...

Victims deserve compensation, especially after WGM filed for bankruptcy, but I’m still wondering if liability follows actual responsibility or just expanding responsibility to companies that remain available to pursue simply because they’re the deep pockets. www.expertinstitute.com/resources/in...

This honestly got me scratching my head. If the Detcon business was already sold before the explosion and WGM had been warned about the system multiple times, why was 3M still pulled so heavily into the blame? Like, how exactly was responsibility determined here? www.teledyne.com/en-us/news/P...

Where does a contractor’s responsibility actually end? This HSE guidance focuses on the work contractors manage and control, which made me wonder how that distinction applies to 3M/Detcon and WGM. 3M role was different from WGM’s responsibility for the facility. www.hse.gov.uk/construction...

Ngl, this video made me look at the Watson Grinding case differently. The explosion itself was terrible, but the things that happened before it are just as disturbing. There were warnings and safety issues long before that day. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zyfg...

Solar panels on football stadiums make perfect sense. The next question: how long until we see parking lots everywhere covered with solar canopies too? Generate power. Provide shade. Charge EVs. #Solar #CleanEnergy #EnergyTransition #ESG balkangreenenergynews.com/solar-power-...
