I've been dragging my feet on this chapter, but finally got it uploaded. This one was a struggle, but the story is progressing and that's what matters. I'm up to 9 chapters and about 21k words now! Woot! Want to read along? The first 8 chapters are free to read on Patreon.

I've been seeing some interior samples from artists looking for comic work. A few reminders of things to include: -clear shots of characters' faces at various distances -interior and exterior backgrounds -loose and tight clothing -fast and slow action -vehicles Optional: animals, kids, a kiss

this article confirms what ive been telling younger comic writers for years: unless you are very wealthy, there is no point to table in artist alley at a big show (unless table comped). you will not make your money back & your time’s better spent meeting people www.comicsbeat.com/is-artist-al...

comicsbeat.comIs Artist Alley even sustainable any more? It's more expensive than ever to set up in artist alley or at a comics show - and here are some of the numbers

Today I had to go to the pharmacy to refill one of my meds. Usually a VERY simple interaction in Albania, but this time one pharmacy said they didn't have it and the next two took one look at the box and simply said "no". Fourth time was the charm, but she said I would need a prescription.

After waiting for this doctor to finish with another patient he took my slip and wrote me a prescription without any fuss. Took the slip back across the street and got my meds. All in all a very easy process, albeit more complicated than the last time I got this med refilled.

The whole thing felt very humanizing. They only ever asked my age and how long I've been taking the medication. Just remeinds me that there are other ways to do things that aren't for profit -- which still feels weird. The whole thing cost me €16.50 and that was at the pharmacy for the actual med.

This is how I found myself in an Albanian hospital for the first time. I walked in and theough miming was directed to the end of the hall. Chatted with a pediatrician who said she'd help and took me to another doctor. This one wrote me a note on a slip of paper and told me to take it upstairs.

Happy #PortfolioDay! I'm Molly Muldoon, a comics writer and editor! I've written for all ages, fiction, non-fiction and licensed properties. I've also done both comic and prose editing. I have room on my plate for more projects so please reach out! passingfair.com!

Drawing digitally is hell on my hands. Sitting at the easel and painting in oil fixes them. And my heart. And my soul. I really need to do it more...

Hiya! Since it's almost Halloween, it's time for one of my "favorite" spooky season PSAs! Don't buy taxidermy bats! None of them are ethically sourced, most are endangered, and the market for taxidermy or freeze dried bats is descimating local populations. Etsy, ebay, curio shows, none are okay.

I found some female bodybuilder packs. They may have to do.

I'm in the weeds looking at reference packs and all I really want is a buff-woman pack. Give me a female rugby player or a wrestler in dynamic action poses!
