WordCampSofia was an absolute blast 💥 420+ attendees, 2 parallel tracks, 16 lectors, 1 panel discussion and 1 workshop! All that at the iconic National Palace of Culture! Big up to all of you attending, to our volunteers, lectors, sponsors and organisers!

#WordCamp is coming home! 11 years since #WCEU, the National Palace of Culture will host us again. WordCamp Sofia is going to be on Nov 29th 2025 at halls 6 and 4! Who's coming at #WCSOF?

I was blocked on FB again (not sure why) and decided to write a block post about #telex by #automattic and share my early experience with it. Although it is a bit buggy overall I am very satisfied with the end result. Check my blog post and find more about Telex

🤖 #telex by #automattic is WILD! Build custom #WordPress blocks with AI to extend your site functionalities. Still a bit buddy but will definitely improve. I love how they implement the Playground into this new feature!

WCEU 2025 official Wapuu here. Ugly AF but quite expensive though 🥳

A day after the Basel Carnival we would like you to meet the WCEU Wapuu for 2025. All dressed up for the occasion, wearing the costume of a Waggis—one of the most iconic figures of the Basel Carnival. bit.ly/4bTGRJx

Remote work ≠ Work from home! 💻

Josh W. Comeau@joshwcomeau.com

Friendly reminder that “remote work” and “work from home” are not synonyms! You *can* work from home as a remote worker, but you don’t have to. Remote work is all about picking the right work environment for you. Might be a coffee shop, a home office, a library, or a rented office!

Just hit the “publish” button on a brand-new blog post! ⭐ This one shares the killer pattern I find myself using over and over with container queries: responding *within* media queries to adapt to the new container size. Once you start using this trick, you’ll see opportunities for it all over. 😄

I feel your pain Brian! Thanks for sharing this simple but useful #WordPress snippet. This makes #Gutenberg columns stack correctly on mobile devices. #Elementor has this feature out of the box. It has to make its way into the Gutenberg core!

Brian Coords@briancoords.com

It's not fancy or glamorous but this code snippet solves a huge pain point for me in Gutenberg. Reverse the column flow on desktop, let it stack correctly on mobile. Super handy for repeatable image/text combos where you want to alternate the visual order on desktop.

Elementor adding an accessibility overlay widget ahead of the new EU regulations hitting this year? 🤔

I’m a long time #Drupal supporter and would love to see what’s new there!

David Bisset@davidbisset.com

Interesting world in #opensource CMS: #Drupal CMS has been released. Putting aside #WordPress market share, I would love to see growth of other open source CMS. At first glance, this seems nice (and what Drupal perhaps needed). new.drupal.org/drupal-cms #cms

Not a huge fan though, but I can not skip that: #Avada - a premium #WordPress theme just passed 1 million copies sold on #ThemeForest! That's a milestone to celebrate!

Ⓦ "Why should I update my website, it's a waste of time and money!", a client recently said. Same client a couple of days latter: almost 5 million lines of error.log sized over 6.7 GB, in 5 days span.

😮 So a while back, I shared my favourite icon package, Lucide. It’s a Feather fork, with *so many* icons (1500+). I just discovered Lucide Lab, a collection of 300+ more icons! It includes more-niche icons that may not be widely useful enough for the main package. github.com/lucide-icons...

A sad day for the #WordPress project. Matching A8c's pledge with WPE's dooms WP to fail in the long term. I hope @automattic.com will reconsider their decision and take back again the leadership as they've always done in the past two decades!
