Congressional hearings don’t do shit except make it LOOK like they’re doing something. The J6 committee hearings were some of the best I’ve seen & they led NOWHERE. They give false hope. Right now all branches of government have been stolen. This political theater is part of how we got here.

A great point, and I fear we know why: they don't anticipate there will be elections going forward—or if there are, their outcome will be structurally predetermined. This administration doesn't appear to have any expectation that it will ever be hamstrung or out of power. Not in 2026, not in 2028.

I got it. Fuck...I got it. I was trained as a criminal investigator at Georgetown and Harvard, worked as a federal criminal investigator in DC, practiced Criminal Law—including sex crimes and homicides—for years, and was sure if I dedicated myself I’d figure out what Trump is hiding.
