Dude really said, “Step 1: kill parents. Step 2: ? Step 3: profit." Like it’s a GTA side quest gone wildly off-script. Also, imagine explaining that plan to your cellmate. “So what are you in for?” “Uh… tried to off Trump with my mom’s credit card.” 🤦🏽‍♀️😂 nypost.com/2025/04/13/u...

Elise Stefanik— Ditched her leadership spot (already filled, lol). Did a whole farewell tour like she was headlining Coachella. Waited months for her big moment… Now? She’s back as a basic rank-and-file nobody. 🤣 You can’t script this level of humiliation...that too in a Tr*mp+20 district! 😂

If @housedemocrats.bsky.social @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social @democrats.senate.gov doesn't make it the biggest media disaster for Trump administration, I'll lose my f**king mind. This is the biggest national security disaster in nearly 50 yrs and it is and should be bigger than Hillary's emails.

American war planning usually takes place in highly secure facilities. But the Trump administration planned its strikes on the Houthis using a group chat—and accidentally included The Atlantic’s editor in chief, Jeffrey Goldberg. theatln.tc/IuULQFiY

Tonight an unbelievable **34,000 people** gathered for our Denver rally to take on billionaires and win our country back. This was the largest political gathering in Denver since Obama in 2008. Also bigger than the 2024 DNC. And the largest ever rally in Bernie’s career (and obviously, mine too).

Mark Carney needs to call a snap election as soon as possible for the Liberal Party to win in a landslide.

Trump on Canada: “When I say they should be a state, I mean that. I really mean that.”

Yeah, except in this version, Glinda’s not the only one gaslighting—Trump’s entire administration is giving her a run for her money.

For the first time ever, I actually believe something coming out of Trump’s mouth. Pete Hegseth is so desperate to kiss Trump’s ass, he probably proposed it over dinner, and Trump—mid-bite of his well-done steak with ketchup—grunted, “Okay, fine. You can pucker up later.

The Air Force’s new fighter will be named after Trump (we jump from F-35s to F-47), but Trump insists that “the Generals picked that title.”

Nancy Pelosi is right again! She might be shady, but she had bigger balls than half of Congress—combined. She clowned the GOP, pimp-slapped her own party, and still shoved bills through like she had diplomatic immunity. Love her or hate her, she ran the Hill like it was her personal Game of Thrones.

Next awards season is gonna be big, lit & tight! Gaga, Lisa and Jennie (already released). Selena Gomez and Lana Del Ray already announced their albums. TBA - Cardi B, Nicki Minaj, Miley Cyrus, Rihanna (😭🔥), Lizzo, Megan thee Stallion, A$AP Rocky.....etc and there are still more big names. OMFG!!😭😭

OMG! Jennie's Ruby album is also lit 😭 "Like Jennie" is literally fire! 🔥 All other songs are incredibly put together! She did an incredible job even though it's her first album in English! She did better than some seasoned musicians albums. Gaga and Jennie were both awesome today 😭🔥 Best night!🥳

#Mayhem slaps so hard! 🔥 Especially Garden Of Eden, Shadow Of A Man and Perfect Celebrity! Disease and Abracadabra are already hits! Mother is Mothering 😭 Lady Gaga is So back!!

India landed #Chandrayaan3 on the Moon’s south pole for just $75M—cheaper than a Hollywood flick's budget. Meanwhile, SpaceX’s #Starship8 took $100M–$200M of taxpayers money... and turned it into fireworks. Glad to see hard-earned cash of the people reaching for the stars—then crashing back down!

Gayle King, please don’t go 🥺, and also ask Katy Perry to stay behind —Lauren Sánchez can and should go alone!

🚨 BREAKING: Another one of Elon Musk’s taxpayer-funded Starship rockets just exploded—AGAIN. How many billions are we wasting on this failure factory? Everything Musk touches blows up, catches fire, or crashes—including the Trump Administration.

I usually just watch the headlines and switch to regular channels since I’m not a big fan of hour-long news programs on any network, especially CNN. That said, Erin Burnett OutFront has been fantastic lately. She’s been doing an excellent job, and both her program and its production are outstanding.

Okay, hear me out… Jon Stewart and Michelle Obama for President and VP. I know I’m dreaming, but imagine—a government that can roast Congress into doing its job and make you feel bad for skipping leg day. God, if you're there…. make the reluctant comedian and the unwilling icon run anyway. Amen.

Why worry about my career when I can stress over the Oscars' 900-foot red carpet requiring three weeks of preparation by over 400 people? #Oscars #Oscars2025 #TheAcademyAwards #TheAcademyAwards2025

My friend’s 48-yr-old mom, born in India, was a homemaker until 5 years ago. With family support, she got a scholarship, moved to the U.S. on a student visa, and graduated from Rice. Now, she has a mid-six-figure offer from Cognizant, sponsoring H1B visas for her and her family. The American dream!❤️

What are we gonna do about it? Susan Collins and I will unleash our most powerful weapon: a very disappointed letter—maybe even bold a few words. Then, like the fearless mavericks we are, we’ll vote exactly how everyone expects. Change is coming… just not today. - Sen. Lisa Murkowski 🤡

JD Vance instigated this conflict. Until then, everything had been relatively smooth. He deliberately escalated the situation, driven by his deep hatred for Zelenskyy, aiming to impress Trump and gain influential political capital. Zelenskyy, unfortunately, walked straight into the trap set for him.

Coinbase had an SEC problem, so they went full “wink-wink” mode: $75M to Trump’s PAC (aka the “get-out-of-jail” fund) $1M for his inauguration (VIP corruption pass) Threw a party (free shrimp for favors) Listed his meme coin And—poof!—case closed! Justice works in mysterious cash ways. MAGA!!💩

China, IRAQ and IRAN abstained but US voted NO. The f**k is happening now? This is not a compromise it's a stab in the back. US is officially siding with Russia now. Just look at the yes votes...you can find dictators and wannabe dictators including Israel and Nicaragua.

"Oh wow, a whole movement dedicated to potentially unpaid overtime and boss worship? What’s next—mandatory morning chants of ‘Dear Leader, I have optimized my synergy for you’? At this rate, they’ll be replacing lunch breaks with ‘Trump Productivity Power Hours’ sponsored by Diet Coke."

Duffy: "This whole movement is potentially gonna make people go, 'I'm gonna come to work earlier. I'm gonna stay later. I'm gonna look at what Donald Trump wants me to accomplish because he won the election, and I'm gonna fight and work to make sure I help him accomplish that ... I work for POTUS.'"

Except this time, the American and French presidents actually didn't show up—because now we’re besties with Russia, and Macron flew to Washington on a mission: to knock some sense into this lunatic before he starts thinking the Eiffel Tower is up for auction.

The Washington Post@washingtonpost.com

Leaders from across Europe and Canada assembled in Kyiv on Monday to mark the third anniversary of Russian’s full-scale invasion amid growing uncertainty over the United States’ continued support for Ukraine.

Be aggressive or go back to being a Minority Whip. At this point, even 84-year-old Nancy Pelosi with a walker could outmaneuver you—probably while knitting. We have no governance, so at least make it entertaining! Shout, scream, throw a shoe, fake a filibuster—heck, start a congressional WWE match!

Hakeem Jeffries@hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social

Elon Musk is traumatizing hardworking federal employees, their children and families. He has no legal authority to make his latest demands. We will block him in Congress and in the Courts. Again.

Joy Reid will always be an important voice speaking truth to power. For such a time as this.

Tr*mp is not a partisan hack in anyway. In fact he is most bipartisan politician I've ever seen. He doesn't care if you're a liberal, MAGA, democrat, progressive, conservative, Independent or a libertarian, as long as you're crooked and corrupt, you're welcome to his circle and his administration. 🫡

Alina Habba on Eric Adams: "Let's not forget something -- this man was prosecuted because he was anti-sanctuary city policies." (This is a lie.)

My advice to the Europe: Build nukes.....and do it asap. You say Brits and French already have them.... then build more and let other European countries build them and sign a EU nuclear treaty or something.

CNN@cnn.com

European leaders are gathering in France for an emergency summit on Ukraine after the Trump administration announced it was opening talks with Russia on ending the war without a European presence. Follow live updates.

Well, look at you, breaking the so-called 'boomer' stereotype one question at a time! 😎😁 PS: I'm glad we had a nice conversation. 😄

Sally Jenkins@sallyjenx.bsky.social

I think sometimes we boomers are afraid to ask. Am glad I did.

None of these questions are dumb. In fact, we don't have answers to most of them yet. Right now, we often discuss what AI could do in the future, supported by the billions raised and the thousands of people hired. But in the present, it's still mostly being used for the same stuff we used to Google.

Sally Jenkins@sallyjenx.bsky.social

This starts to make sense, but my question is, if OpenAI gets the winner of the marathon wrong, which it did, how can you trust it on the larger deeper tasks? Or is that a dumb question?
