In fact I will say the Earnest and Pious Charismatic Ethnic Minority political figure (AOC, Mamdani, El-Sayed) has been a pretty good bet for the American left so far, whereas the Disaffected Gruff White Guy Showcasing True Masculinity (Fetterman, Platner) has been a worse bet. Just an observation.

I'm proud of myself for originally saying that the cop from the Boston cop slide video was "impure of heart" and that's why only kids come out unscathed so now everyone thinks the slide knows your sins and spits you out violently if you aren't "pure of heart"

my little cousin is in town from Guatemala for the week and I was able to secure a switch OLED for her dirt cheap, $140 with an extra controller she just turned 21 🥹

Lula winning is great for the planet, great for Brazil, and great for people who aren't revanchist assholes everywhere in the world, but let's not forget that it's also going to make some of the worst people on Earth extremely sad and mad. We should enjoy that, as a little treat.

so a few days ago there was an incident on the lakefront where a small child was wandering in the bike lane, which is A BIG no-no. those bikes go FAST and athletes train on there, so they could easily get collided into. everyone coming together to cuss this guy out is very amusing

first I drove down to Midlothian yesterday (1 hr drive) to try to buy one for $120, but he kept insisting on buying him a gift card for gas money and I kept trying to pay cash. so, scam. so today I drove out to aurora (1hr20min) to grab this one and it was a young nerdy guy and went way smoother

Glad to see staff is so considerate to newer gamers in advance of the OoT remake. Not everyone has played through the game before, it's a lot harder to spoil the later temples when bluesky is blocking adult Links.
