It's... a little frightening how much I enjoy Deadlock.

I've started my journey through all the albums I've come by this year for the 2026 list, and wow, there was some incredible music this year. I haven't even gotten to the heavy hitters yet either.

Months after it's release, MØL's Dreamcrush is still spinning me in circles. Amazing musicality and devastating violence often in the span of one track.

Wildwood was unbelievable. I'm still mulling it over 2 and a half hours since getting home. Astonished at how much ground it covers and how daring it gets with what it puts on the table. I can't even fathom how all that came together into what I just saw.

So my first Deadlock game with a Nurse Harrow on my team we wound up rolling so hard I kinda felt bad for the other team. Can't wait to try her out for myself soon.

Apparently construction types messed up the Fibre to the whole neighborhood. ISP says no ETA on restoration. I've already gone way too long without a game of Deadlock!!

Also, physical media is your friend!!

Trying to get my brain set on the idea that going and playing Magic with my friends is just as fun as staying home and playing Deadlock all night instead.

Power company has now kicked the restoration time to well past bed time. So okay, guess I hope i have power when I wake up.

Finally got to try out Rat King in a Deadlock game. I see potential here. Gonna need some practice though.

played one of the best Deadlock games I've ever had. Got MVP, everything went well, this game rules. but then...

Next game, someone is AFK for like first 5 minutes, then refuses to lane, someone comes and just crashes our lane, tells me to get lost. I solo lane as Rem with an egg for too long, then AFK guy comes back and wins it for us. wtf?

Sometimes I hate Deadlock. Tonight is one of those times. oh well. Can't way to play more tomorrow.

I keep trying to come up with something to say and deleting it cause the feelings I have right now should go without saying. Really upset and angry that the spaces I exist in were made hostile for women and survivors. It's a lot to process and I hate that it keeps happening.

Got my first Deadlock win with Ivy since my break (was robbed of key player but w/e). Kind of a relief, was starting to think I was bad with her now.

Pac had the most beautiful finisher in wrestling, and for a long time he had a look & vibe I would describe as "underwear goblin." Though he was as good as literally any leading-man wrestler on earth, he excelled as a character actor in the ring. He was a fixture of my wrestling life. I'll miss him.

Can't even fathom losing Pac in this moment. RIP to a true talent.

After 20 days off, I have returned to Deadlock! Won 3 of 4 games tonight, so not as rusty as I thought I'd be!

Just watched the new Neil Peart documentary, and now none of you're not allowed to ask me about the last movie that made me cry until further notice.

Yup, I typo'd that "not" into there, but the point stands. Anyways, I'm just gonna keep listening to my favourite Rush deep cuts and feeling my feelings for the rest of the night. ... alright, the rest of the month.
