Yay, I'm chatting with a techie at Bluehost to try and fix my hosted email woes. The techie just told me to keep messaging every 4-5 minutes in the window to keep from getting disconnected. Pretty sure there's an automated service that would break us up if I didn't. Isn't technology grand?

Runemaster would make a totally perfect spec for Monks in WoW, they could just rename and re-icon a bunch of powers into a non-Pandaren version. They should totally retcon the Scarlet Enclave monks into those, give it Light lore right from the get-go. Especially if you can connect monks to shamans.

The best report for what kind of person you were would be where they talk about your death. Dolly being mourned on Sniffies shows how beloved she was. I know *I'm* a mess today.

Okay, hear me out: 2D animated comedy/adventure, like Lower Decks, set in Eberron, explicitly. As with LD, it's a comedic take on a wider, serious-stories world. Eberron can allow itself to have fun with one-off jokes, while respecting the wider canon as something not founded in farce.

I’ve been wearing these boots for less than a week, and the zipper-backing sidewall rips out. I’m gonna have to cut this whole segment out with scissors, before it jams the zipper teeth like it did on the last pair. (I had an identical pair of the same boots worn for 3-4 years.)

So, honestly, BlueHost (after they merged my original HostMonster hosting package) is just doing crappy as a web/mail host. They keep trying to sell me AI packages. And now I can't even get into my old email. Looking at something new, Squarespace probably has a promo code from someone I know..

Steak taquitos! For a few years I loved those things. Side of sour cream, dipped the cut end. Crazy high protein, actual steak. Then all the Taco Bell‘s in my area was part of a test market that lost them early, maybe a year, before they were removed entirely.

I have cried at least twice tonight from the messages and videos memorializing Sam Neill. I may still as I see others. Still grappling with how big an effect this one actor had on my childhood. Alan Grant, Merlin, and several other roles spread across 30-some years of my life. RIP.

Okay, honestly, can we get an option to turn off reposts from people we follow in the main feed? I have more than a few accounts I have to turn off the reposts from, because I wanted to follow them for THEIR posts, not the endless stream of RTs they post from others, and it floods my feed. Unfollow.

I don't expect a response from this guy I've been debating, but I think he's stuck on a philosophical tent-stake and doesn't realize he's stuck on a baseline that isn't as absolute as he thinks.

Just finished the He-Man movie. It’s about everything I expected, and not much I didn’t. I liked it, but I recognize it as flawed, in ways I anticipated, but the good outweighs the flaws, IMO.

I have achieved a burst of character rigging insight in Moho, one of those moments where all the parts of the tutorials I'm watching are adding up into a fully comprehensive plan for how to approach my character rigs for Ember Alley's complex, dynamic 2D characters, including centaurs and dragons.

So, is the way my computer chair always rotates clockwise whether I move my hips clockwise or counterclockwise (to rotate the casters and avoid leg-frame warp) a manifestation of the Coriolis Effect?

This is beautiful animation, and the use of the DragonHeart theme just makes it hit extra-hard. (I love that film, one of my childhood favorites, especially after reading the screenwriter's novelization during a middle-school driving trip.)

Wild idea: Humanize the economy. Shift from a pseudo-gold standard for the definition of the dollar's value, to one defined by the citizen population's cost of living in the US. Base it on human existence rather than working output.

Remember when John Oliver was doing timed, targeted PSAs on Fox News to try and stealth-educate Trump on political vitals? Has anybody tried doing an AI hot chick doing a political explainer that deconstructs major conservative talking points, teaching empathy? And then float it past Trump on Truth?
