Posted about it on Twitter, but I figured I should talk about it here, too. CQ Act 2 is underperforming to a really disappointing degree. I'm considering my options moving forward, but it's looking very grim for my ability to continue working on games going forward.

Played some Fright Train this week - a new survival horror release that almost passed me by and I feel people are sleeping on! It's got a really great inventory and reloading system, a cartoony visual style and a real sense of what makes the genre great - with a roguelike twist!

Okay, Fright Train? VERY good game. Also great to see the range WildArts have. Caput Mortum was an experimental interface slow walking horror game, while this is a mash-up of every survival horror flavor at once that somehow WORKS. Finished my first Chapter 1 run. I thought I did good. Rank E. Hah.

Fright Train is coming on the 15th of September, a very neat 3rd person survival horror roguelike set on a train, and it's surprisingly cute. Runs will see you repairing the train's systems, avoiding freezing cold outside, and it has a demo for you to check out of course!
