Oh it gets weirder. Following publication, "Delta9", the anonymous "third party, not associated with the SoapGirls" who speaks for them anyway, now claim a "third party line with the President" and are proposing to make it illegal for any "current or former Antifa member" to criticize a band.

Since LCRW's reporting, three West Coast venues have dropped the SoapGirls: a Portland date was removed, The Sparrow & Serpent in Eugene canceled its Oct. 29 show after looking into the band, and San Francisco's Kilowatt Bar withdrew an Oct. 27 offer.

June 2020: Camille Debray of The SoapGirls tells the Jerm Warfare podcast that South African farm murders are "a white genocide." The video was later deleted from YouTube. Last week, one of the sisters apologized for the wording — while calling the claim "a fucking fact."

From the same 2020 Jerm Warfare interview: asked if The SoapGirls had written a song about farm murders, Camille Debray says, "We actually did do a song inspired by that" — naming "Bloody" and "Black Mass." Both remain on streaming platforms.

August 30, 2026: Camille Debray of The SoapGirls on the MKUltrasound podcast, apologizing for calling South African farm murders "a white genocide" in a deleted 2020 interview — "I probably worded it wrong… I apologize if I did that" — before adding: "But the thing is, it is a fucking fact."

At 3:25 AM this morning, Katie Perry — a senior talent agent at Atomic Music Group, whose AMG email is listed as the SoapGirls’ booking contact — messaged me on Facebook unprompted to tell me I was “not very good at investigating or research." She also requested to follow my private Instagram.

I replied: "If there's anything I'm wrong about, I'm happy to correct the record." A few hours later, the account responded: "there is a private investigator working on both you and jeff tischauser." Minutes later, the message was deleted and the account blocked me. cc @jtischauser.bsky.social
