Okay, now I'm mad. If this is real we were indeed fucking robbed.
One day after EA shut down BioWare, a trailer has begun circulating for what some claim was supposed to be Mass Effect 5, a game called Mass Effect: Universe starring Liara T'Soni and a new protagonist. https://kotaku.com/mass-effect-5-universe-leaked-trailer-liara-bioware-2000748858

I watched a South park episode from with GoT was at its height of popularity and whatever you think about South Park, they sure as hell called it that Martin and the show runners had no idea where the fuck any of it was going.
there’s one true answer but it’s the correct one five minutes after game of thrones - the last true monoculture show - ended, we all collectively agreed not to talk about it again, and house of the dragon/knight of the seven kingdoms haven’t recaptured a fraction of that cultural presence

This is in response to news that we’re never going to profit from TMX, despite the government regularly calling the project “wildly profitable.” Anyway, when the whole argument for the infrastructure to be built is PROFIT-BASED, (unlike Canada Post!) yes you do!!
I read recently that we shouldn't measure public infrastructure by whether it generates a direct profit.

Workers are losing their right to strike and Canada is being sold for parts so naturally Canada’s columnist class is focused on what really matters: Why the only prominent progressive voice in politics right now is Evil for criticizing a literal genocide
The changes to the Canada Labour Code in this new bill are “without precedent in Canadian law and they’re without precedent even amongst our trading partners in the G7.” “It provides the complete and unlimited discretion to the federal minister to decide who gets to go on strike and who does not.”
