Brazilians recommending not to amplify right-wing talking points by dunking and quoting, as a winning strategy Next day, my tl is full of people dunking on rfk jr I literally would not have seen the bigotry if it wasn't for y'all repeating it. That's exactly what the Brazilians were on about!

Artist! Quote with your character just existing!

I follow 50% snarky narrative designer/writers and 50% horny OC artists. I challenge anyone who thinks their feed is better than mine.

Soooo close to funded!! If you love supporting indie games and indie studios, check out Amnesia Fortnight: Indie Reboot and join the fun! Voting is open now; 4 games will become prototypes, but only one will take the AF2026 crown! https://dfaf2026.com

The only thing I can think is that eventually they will lay off everyone who actually knows how to make a game, and then all those people will form a shadow industry and start making actual games again while they sit in crumbling ivory towers doing remasters.

Me, whenever it comes to writing some "lore."

Man, I want a donut. 😔

Despair is not an emotion I ever thought I'd feel in regards to game dev. Frustration? Sure. Burnout? Yeah. But this is new. And I KNOW that things will evolve, and games will never disappear. Humans love games. We love stories. But evolution is scary and painful. Ugh. Crawling back into the ocean!

Even though I'm currently working in games, every day I feel like I'm never gonna work in games again.

Sony is taking this away from us

Reminder of one of the saddest moments in gaming

I love Hollywood announcements about upcoming projects: "It's a ROBOCOP web-series! It's a MARVEL reboot! It's a HOLLY HOBBY trilogy!" These are empty statements. IP is only your geography-- is there a STORY to tell there?

for those who need a little monday rev of the engine youtu.be/T43bB0Qow5c?...

NASA just dropped this image of Artemis II astronaut Christina Koch looking back at us. The first woman to ever see our planet in its entirety. I’m not crying you’re crying 🥹🔭🧪 📸: NASA

"The color is repellent, almost revolting; a smouldering unclean yellow, strangely faded by the slow-turning sunlight." I made a "Yellow Wallpaper" piece back in 2017, but I re-read the story over the weekend and wanted to try again. Much happier with this version 🖤

A beauty and the beast romance is just the fantasy of making his heart soft and his dick hard

RIP to Valerie Perrine, aka Miss Tessmacher who jump-started my obsession with tragic bad girls

How do y'all work all day AND play all these games AND watch shows AND hang out with your people AND exercise AND cook AND sleep? Y'all have some kinda extra hours in the day I don't know about?

"It was the wretch, the filthy daemon, to whom I had given life." Mary Shelley's "Frankenstein" was published on this day in 1818 🫀

All I want is to fully fund a gothic horror romance game and take my writing team out for an occasional boisterous karaoke. Is that so much to ask, games industry?

Did you know falconry was one of few medieval sports that both men & women were welcome to participate in? Peregrine falcons were a popular bird for ladies because they're small. Also, they apparently hunt by PUNCHING OTHER BIRDS OUT OF THE SKY WITH THEIR CLOSED FISTS. Pic from D&D in a Castle 2022

Morning.

I'm sure it's fine. What could possibly go wrong?

My guess is that current games industry turmoil is the result of 3 factors: 1.) the "new console" eco-system hit by asteroid 2.) fantasizing with billions about a genre that could not expand 3.) fail-upwards exec trajectories

"The Blessing Way" (1995.09.22) S03|E01|3X01 Director: R.W. Goodwin Writer: Chris Carter Director of Photography: John S. Bartley Art Director: Graeme Murray #XFiles #TheXFiles

This makes me so happy to see. 🍺💥

The X-Files is genuinely a timelessly good show, because when not focusing on overarching conspiracy plot, they would really just focus on a single concept and quite crucially, it would cast an incredible actor to center the episode around who would be utterly god damn captivating to watch.
