Since Blitz promised to be mature & give Stolas space, he won't ask what's going on with Vassago & Stolas fails to tell him. Instead, Blitz will keep bottling everything up, & eventually convince himself he needs to let Stolas go so he can be happy with Vassago.

Vassago' confession came at the worst possible time. He threw everything out there all at once, at a moment where Stolas would have had to make a decision quickly. Stolas' social circle is much smaller than Vassago's, meaning he had less support to fall back on.

Vassago spent a year trying to get Stolas to notice his interest. When that failed, he went right for kissing Stolas, confessing his love for him, & asking him to run away together in a reckless, impulsive fantasy. Stolas rejected him & the two of them didn't see each for 19 years.

Blitz & Vassago were both in love with their respective friends. But they went about their attempts to confess in different ways. Albeit, one similarity, is that both of them failed to achieve their goal, bcuz they didn't act when they should have.

#helluvabossspoilers #helluvabossseason3 Re-watching The Auction, I realised that Stolas' "I'm poor now!!" outburst from Sinsmas isn't all that crazy. Vassago bids 100,000,000 for the locket, on top of whatever he paid for the journal - which many Goetia were interested in. 🤔

The way Stolas looks at the palace when Vassago says he doesn't have any responsibilities anymore 👀
