Charleston remains the ONLY North American city to run a uniform, stamped-metal badge system for urban slave labor. These copper badges reveal a larger truth: Charleston licensed, numbered, monitored, and taxed Black labor. Again I ask: Who knew?🤔 I didn't. #KeepItWoke #DedicatedToTam✡️🕊

Being used by the wealthy is the American Way. The Founding white male landowning Fathers made landless indentured white servants, enslaved Black people, and Native Americans blame each other for their problems to prevent them from uniting. 1/ Tomorrow, two countries face consequential elections. In Brazil, Lula faces the son of a former president convicted of plotting a coup. In Serbia, students challenge a party that has ruled for 14 years. Both votes test democratic accountability. #DV1 #ProudBlue #Voices4Victory #USDemocracy

In one day, two politicians - Bolsonaro in Brazil and Vucic in Serbia - with ties to Trump have lost surprise elections thanks to high turnout. The rise of the international far-right is not inevitable.

Unanswered question #1: Why would non-citizens even want or try to vote? What would be in it for them? Basically nothing ............and the risk they would take....for no gain!!!!!! That's why the charge is absurd to begin with. I've lived abroad. Trying to vote never even occurred to me.

When a worker wears an Amazon vest, drives an Amazon van and delivers on an Amazon-controlled route, but Amazon denies they work for the company — that's exploitation.

If it looks like an Amazon delivery and drives like an Amazon delivery, then it's an Amazon delivery, right? Not according to Amazon. Big companies like Amazon have built a vast network of subcontractors who deliver their packages while shielding them from accountability.
