look, i'm canadian and i know our melange of british and american english stuff is very dumb so maybe i don't have a leg to stand on BUT 'mould' is some fucking nonsense

i saw a poster for wicker and jokingly said to myself 'oh, would that make him ribbed for her pleasure' then saw the trailer and as far as i can tell, yes, that's the joke

bolsonaro jr may not have had the chance to carry on his father's political project, but maybe he can carry on his father's legacy of bowel impaction and covid strain collection

im always kinda amazed at how off canadian polling is. maybe it's a FPTP issue but it feels like they never take into account how readily they are to just completely throw an existing party under the bus in favour of just a general 'opposition' regardless of how wretched those people are

A Conservative majority is the worst outcome of this election. It is really important to get out an vote tomorrow. The strengthening Green Party with Emily Lowan as leader is a great outcome. But we still need turnout on the left to keep the Cons out.

my brother and i bought a steam machine for my mom’s birthday cause her old ass pc died (it’s so old i think it was running vista?) but she lives in rural quebec and her home is down a private road that’s behind a big iron fence. how did fedex deliver the package? well,

one of the funniest things from the screening last night was when the baron drops the bone in front of sister jeanne someone in the theatre gasped "don't" when she realised the chunk of bone was fairly phallic

the fucked thing is that even when the ai bubble implodes it won’t be like all the money goes flowing back like blood behind a tourniquet because all that money and more will have to service debt for years and years

god, the chapters of the silmarillion that are just page after page of extremely basic descriptions of geography and Some Elf Guy Who There One Time is the most interminable shit

lmao i held off on listening to the new shelved by genre until i was caught up on the reading and immediately after the summary they’re like ‘damn, this section was ass’

Business Insider confirms it: Amazon has warehouses of GPUs that can’t be installed, and is buying them so far in advance that a supply chain team said they “didn’t have a clear forecasted path” to installing them. www.businessinsider.com/amazon-220-b...

Free newsletter: I estimate that ~50% of AI chip sales - $200bn to $300bn+ - are sitting in warehouses, with NVIDIA selling hundreds of billions of GPUs years in advance. Data centers take way longer to build than hyperscalers are leading us to believe. www.wheresyoured.at/wherere-all-the-ai-chips/

well, the combat in belmont's curse was fun but i just realised i have a pair of items that turn any boss fight into a total joke so i may have to restrain myself from actually using them lol
