As Americans, are we supposed to just sit here and say okay when our country steals Venezuela's oil?I haven't heard "how dare we steal their oil!" from any newscaster or politician. That's just who we are now?

A 5-year-old Texan just spent the first day of school in an ICE detention center. ICE kidnapped Liam Tadeo on his way to a soccer game with his dad. Liam should be in kindergarten. Instead, our government has thrown him in a prison camp hundreds of miles from home.

We need a "water grid" in the US, similar to how we share electricity through a grid. If we can pump oil across the country, we should be able to capture and share the billions of gallons of flood waters in the south to rivers and reservoirs in CO,AZ, NV and other areas with drought and wildfires.

Congress works 140 days a year and earns $174K annually, plus full benefits. How can anyone survive on that without a few stock trades and a little insider trading? They get 225 days off a year and think it’s okay to hold the federal minimum wage at $7.25 an hour for 17 years.

Remember: Wealth cannot be separated from power. We're seeing in real time how the extreme concentration of wealth is distorting our politics, rigging markets, and granting unprecedented power to a handful of people. Taxing the rich isn't just an economic issue, it's a defense of our democracy.

Hey congress, if Lutnick – or anyone else – is lying, we need to judge for ourselves. A transcript leaves out the vast majority of the communication. Do not treat us like children. It is our right to see and hear any and all such videos.
