Just saw that “liberals are new racists” ad and it’s just a reminder that hate is the only argument they have.

This is great news. But everyone needs to vote like pro democracy candidates are 10 points behind. Do not take your foot off the gas.

accurately describing Trump and his administration can make anyone sound like a partisan lib - until you realize that Trump really is that corrupt, malicious, mentally ill and stupid.

Asawin Suebsaeng@swin24.bsky.social

It may make me sound like a partisan lib but I actually think it’s Bad that the President thinks he can use a small army of men with loaded guns to disrupt the legitimate electoral process in California simply because he thinks it’ll help him and his party politically this close to an election…

Voter suppression in Texas is working exactly as it was designed to work. Republicans closed 92 voting locations in the state's largest swing county and now voters are waiting in line two hours to vote.

"You made us all get the story wrong," is, perhaps, the most pathetic stance that anyone pretending at journalism might offer. That GOP hacks might offer it up is standard. That Fox now runs out the string is, also, sadly quite standard.

It's really remarkable how in race after race, Republicans are saddled with the worst candidates imaginable - Paxton, Whatley, Husted, Rogers, Marshall, Moody, M. Collins, Graham... Some of them may win, but my god what a collection of losers, crooks, and dumbasses

This is actually really striking. The Republican candidates are genuinely quite bad!

during his previous term I had a running thread on the old site of examples of Trump inciting violence against political opponents interspersed with occasional reminders that no American newspaper had ever called for his resignation or impeachment over it.

just a casual reminder that inciting violence against his political opponents and others he dislikes has been a core feature of Donald Trump's approach for more than a decade. It is a defining characteristic of Trump and his movement, but rarely centered as such by corporate media.
